Daly is friends with Gruden hence why we have even talked to him. I personally think it is too good to be true but it might stock his ego to be one of 3 or 4 coaches to have won a championship on every level.

I find it very hard to believe that being friends with John Daly would make Gruden that much more likely to take the job.

Given the time of year our only choices are interim, random NFL guy or somebody who isn't working.
Also, given Jeff Long's track record, nobody knows shite about what's going on.
I can't really picture Jon Gruden taking the job.. but then again, stranger things have happened.

we could still beat you all by 40 even if we had a Dooley coaching us this year. I think we get an interim but I would do 10000 jumping jacks and run naked through Dickson street with a meth pipe at 3 am if this was to happen.

I am not sure how close the relationship that drunk has with the tea tottling Gruden but you can believe what ya wanna believe, the beauty of America

I do not know but if anyone did not see Wilson today he looked like Dan Marino in his prime. Not 90s Dan but late 80s Dan.
Jon Gruden is pipe dream, I think but a lot of people are getting excited and if he does come to Arkansas then watch out. There is no better teacher in the game today.

We are going to be good this year, coach or no coach.
I went to the spring game today.
Wilson has only gotten better. Add an O-line that might give him more than 2 seconds to throw and a healthy Knile Davis and I'm confident that we will be better than last year.

I saw an article that was written when he was Daly's caddy that explained their relationship by saying Gruden was the latest in a string of people to take Daly's mess of a life on as his feel-good project. I said it here before, but if Gruden, who has turned down all sorts of college programs, decides to take the Arkansas position because he's friends with Daly, I don't know if I'd trust his judgment.
