LSU wont even make the tourney

Would this thread be a good place to point out that Henry is 5th in NFL history in rush yards per game in the playoffs? Even including this year's stinker.

Oh wow so amazing.
But it’s the past now. We are talking right now!
And right now Henry finished the postseason 2nd to last in rushing yards.
That’s gotta be a record right?
1st 2,000 yard rusher to finish 2nd to last in rushing for starting RBs in a postseason?

That's like making fun of a guy who hit 60 homers in a sason for having a game where he didn't hit one. I mean I appreciate the troll attempt but it's not nearly as good as some of the other LSU fans dickriding Brady's greatness.

Not sure if they are records but he does hold nfl records and I'm prety sure LF does not.

You said let’s talk about Bama Basketball,
So I bring it up and you bring in LSU to the conversation. Hate to see it folks.

Will it make you feel better if we say yes?

Does this make you feel better about being 1-9 in your last 10 vs. bama or watching your former coach win 6 national championships at a rival program?

This doesn't fit the corndog narrative of this thread, but I like it.

Oh my the hypocrisy is crazy.
So what’s the problem with Fournette?
People like to trash him for ONE game vs Bama in 2015. So your point?

I mean it hurts tbh. But that’s not why I made this thread.
Gotta love it tho. Aubie fans stepping up for Big brother.

Well, Fournette had more than one bad game against Bama, if you want to be correct about it.
Second, Fournette's NFL career has been underachieving to be kind. The guy was drafted with the 4th overall pick and has a career YPC average of 3.9, and he was lower than that this year.
You're making a mistake if you're trying to compare him to Henry in any way and thinking it will look favorable for him. He's been a decent NFL RB. But there's a reason he's on a 1-year, $2.5 million deal while Henry is riding a 4-year, $50 million contract. It's because the market proved than Henry is the superior player, while Fournette is a dime-a-dozen NFL RB.

People trash him on here because he was proclaimed to be a once a generation type RB, won the Heisman before he ever played a game, struck a Heisman pose against an FCS team, failed to show up in the biggest games of his career, and has proceeded to be a below average starting RB in the NFL.
To be more concise, people trash him because of the way LSU fans shoved him down our throats for 3 years.
His being a part of a Super Bowl doesn't change any of that, FWIW.

Trying to help you bro, threads like this let them know how much they are in your head.

Um, I feel like your forgetting how good LF is.
At LSU he definitely lived up to the hype.
As a freshmen he ran for 1,000 yards with a 5.5 avg per carry. To go along with 10 TDs.
Sophomore year was even better nearly 2,000 yards rushing with 22 TDS and a 6.6 avg per carry. Junior year was hurt but still an avg of 6.5 a carry.
He then goes to NFL and does the same thing Henry did in 2019 by leading his team to the AFC championship in 2017 as a rookie.
And had another 1,000 yard year in 2019.
Never in his life has he been with a team that is balanced besides this season with the Bucs. At LSU they stacked the box everyplay making him run through 8-9 guys. In Jacksonville he was the best player in offense without any balance at all. Bortles could not throw the ball consistently done the field.
He needs more time to make a fair assumption of how good can rlly be.

Early in the season he was used for short down situations and was clearly the 2nd wheel in the RB rotation. Last 5-6 weeks he’s been getting more carries and is prob the number 1 back now. If you watched the games, the Bucs aren’t making a SB without fournette. He tore up the saints, packers, and had a good game vs the Chiefs.
I think next season he will breakout again for 1,000 yards.

He had a good playoff run. There's no disputing that and he should be congratulated for it.
He was below average the entire rest of the season. The numbers don't lie. As far as his YPC being blamed on his role early in the season, his best game was in week two. Down the stretch of the regular season he was putrid.
Neither he nor Jones are under contract for next season. Jones had the better year, though, and will make more money this off-season.
