A clear sign of desperation. The vols program has little hope, due in large part to him, and he knows it, so his only move is to try to fling mud around and hope it somehow sticks.

Fulmer has a history of bringing down rival programs. We deserved a slap for Albert Means, but so did Tennessee and everyone else who admitted offering the guy money.
What pissed Alabama fans off is not the fact that we were caught, but the fact we were the only ones investigated/punished.

Alabama was punished because they actually paid Means' (from Memphis) coach. Hard to punish schools that offer but never actually pay. Tennessee did, however, pay Tee Martin (from Mobile) which Alabama fans were rightfully pissed off about given that all happened a couple years prior to Means. It's hard for me to always remember the details for things that far back, but I feel like that had a lot to do with why Alabama fans were so pissed at how everything went down. Fulmer basically outbid Alabama for Martin then turned Alabama in when he was outbid for Means.

fricker was extra salty about losing out on Oher when he came to Ole Miss. He was the whole reason for the NCAA investigating his recruitment

Fulmer can't do much to Bama now that Roy Kramer is gone. All Fulmer can do is sit back and be bitter about all the L's piling up.

I don't dispute that but there generally won't be a paper trial like there is when payments are actually made, which is why it's hard to punish schools who never follow through with the offer

Fulmer is a coward POS... Nobody respects a snitch. Albert means never saw 100,000 bucks , not even close . A Bama booster paid his POS High school coach.
