Last year the Committee used an injury to FSU’s QB as their rationale for keeping an undefeated conference champion out of the playoffs…now that Beck appears to be out how does the Committee justify ranking UGA #2 over Penn St or one loss Notre Dame. Talk about SEC bias…how embarrassing.

Look another dumb arse that doesn’t understand how the seeding works.

Edit: UGA would have had to fallen to 10th after winning the SEC to have moved the 3rd seed.

They weren't compared against those 2 teams..

Oregon, Georgia, Boise State, Clemson, Arizona State

Those are the 5 auto qualifiers. 4 get a bye.

Your post is embarrassing though..

Slight differences.

Uga beat top 5 Texas.
Not sure if we knew of becks diagnosis fully by CFP selection.
There are now 12 teams
Uga won the auto bid.
FSU beat some unknown team in a weaker conference.

The top 5 conference champions now get in.

The top 4 conference champions get byes.

It has nothing to do with the committee's thoughts... it's written into the playoff rules.

UGA is at 2 because even with the Beck injury they think they're better than Clemson, Boise State and ASU. It has nothing to do with PSU or ND... they aren't eligible to be seeded in the top 4.

they can't. Now that we know beck's diagnosis, the committee called for a do-over and the new rankings will come out at 7pm (6pm central) tonight to move UGA back in the 10-12 range. Sucks but hey what can you do

FSU’s backup was trash and UGA’s is somewhat competent. That’s why.

Is this a real question? Are you really that stupid or just joking. Neither Penn State nor Notre Dame... won their conference championship. Georgia did. That's a guaranteed bye. Not sure what you are whining about.

UGA was losing when Beck got hurt. UGA came back and won with the backup, showing additional spark. UGA's backup was a 5* recruit. FSU's backup was not.

Or, you know, the fact that they looked like crap against a garbage schedule.

UGA has 4 wins vs Playoff Teams. FSU had 1 win against 9-3 LSU from week 1 and no one else. FSU had one of worst P5 scheduled in country last year.
