Happy for him that he gets to go to school and play ball closer to his son. Hopefully he can contribute to the team this year.

I think he was a Cincinnati guy so Stoops continues to hit Ohio for recruits.

Was he on Ohio State's list when he went to Free Shoes U?

Didn't the NCAA deny a player a transfer so he could be closer to his Mom who had a brain tumor?

Glad for Peters and his kid, but this process is very whimsical.

Just for reference, Brock Hoffman - 247 2star, Peters - 247 4star

He came from FSU but played his high school ball in southern Ohio.

Stoops has done well with Ohio kids that did not get love from Bucknuts

The NCAA was especially wrong on that poor kids case. They even said his mother's health was stabilized and questioned why she was still working if it was so serious. Just an overall stupid ruling.

I think ultimately it came down to the school being x number of miles away from his mother and they said it was too far. I may be confusing my transfer cases.

You should follow Florida recruiting more closely.

Why? I'm not a recruitnik. Following it closely is not interesting to me.

Never heard of him. Not everthing is a sleight to poor ole UK football.

5 miles outside the 100 mile radius the waiver calls for.

Consensus 4* OLB. Redshirted last year after playing in just 2 games for the Nolies. He'll be a good one for the Wildcats.

Not gonna lie, it moved when i heard the news. UKs pass rush just got filthier. I wonder how much action he'll see at Jack this season. Paschal obviously holding that down but its where X will eventually be starting.

Pretty sure that happened but the details about that make sense why they didn’t allow the kid to transfer.

What is the situation with him. I mean, how old is his son? Was his son not a factor when he signed with FSU?

I’m not sure if his son was born yet when he enrolled at FSU or not. He committed to us originally. It was a strange recruitment really. Glad he’s back with us though.
