As a Gator fan, not knowing a player at Free Shoes U seems damn near impossible. It is not that the kid is going to UK, it is that he is comming from FSU. It would be like a kid coming from the Line Beards getting a NCAA hardship to play for Ole Miss.

Why? Knowing Louisville's roster seems weird to me. I don't go to FSU boards though and only one private Gator board.
I'm a fan but it's not my life. I gave up living and dying sports save for my son's sports. Most people I know are the same. Different crowd I guess.

I have no problem using sickness of a relative or wanting to play near their kids as an excuse to get a waiver....unless the condition existed before or during the recruitment time. I just don't like it when they get waivers when the kid was born before or during the recruitment then they use it as a way to become immediately eligible. If it wasn't an issue before then it shouldn't be an issue afterwards.

Out of high school he had offers from 8 SEC schools including Florida. I am actually surprised he was not at least aware of the name.

I don't follow recruiting. I haven't in years. No time to stress over the decisions of 18 year olds.
