That’s why they shouldn’t be in playoffs.

So you are saying had they been in the CFP, all these FSU players would have still opted out?

Nobody gave a shite when LSU had to trot out a WR at QB against Kansas state a few years ago. They talk shite about the sec every time while leaving all of that out. Look at Texas A&M this year and we’re still laughing at the Ohio state fan talking about the SEC being down because of the loss.

They had an opportunity to go undefeated and instead chose not to try. That’s on them. If they had all decided to play and beat Georgia no one could ever take that from them. They are self serving quitters.
And by the way Georgia would have beat that arse for them anyway in my opinion.

I don't disagree with any of that, but it's the way of the world these days. It is what it is.

They would still be kicking their arse. Georgia should be in the playoffs no doubt.

You say “can’t even put Bama away” like that’s an easy thing to do. Really?

Do you know how hard it is to put “Saban & his machine away”, especially in a season where we know he is getting ready to retire & you know he wants to get that last title to have the crown of all records.

Saban dug down deep this year and has rallied his troops.

But saying UGA is some lightweight b/c they could not put them away is silly. UGA is a powerhouse to be dealt with year In & year out. Kirby is the greatest to come out of Sabans protégés coaching tree. He was wit the Saban the longest & he’s a defensive genius and just as good at recruiting with a state that’s as rich in talent as any state in the country. And UGA is the only true perennial powerhouse in the state Georgia, as long as Kirby is there, they will be legit contenders every year like Bama has been. They are the new dynasty imo.

I’m an LSU guy, and I also have an extensive football background having coached as well (I don’t just spew loose comments), UGA is my #2 and they aren’t going away anytime soon!

MF wasn't even that good.

Nobody missing from that team makes up the (so far) 39-point deficit.

Yeah, the statement would be, "We know we're going to get the shite kicked out of us, so we're opting out to spare us the beating".
