Bama has the 4th S.O.R. FSU is undefeated and might have the best defense in CFB. Bama is not undefeated.

Those two statistics shouldn't matter more than being undefeated, having a better defense, better performances against shared opponents, and S.O.R.

Their SOR is great because of how bad their SOS is. You think FSU is better than Bama? Watch Michigan’s reaction to learning they are playing Bama instead of FSU and see how much they think Bama is the better team.
FSU may have deserved it, but Bama is the obvious better team and that’s what the committee went with per their job description. Michigan’s reaction shows they were dead right too.

That actually helps Bama's argument. Comparable SOR (how they played against their schedule) while playing a schedule that was 50+ spots better on SoS.
