Hottytoddy7 was born to the son of a middle class Gump alumni and knew nothing besides gump fandom most of his life. Moving to Birmingham when he was 1 to Phenix City when he was 3 the Crimson life was all he knew. Even when his gump father made the best decision of his life to move to a suburb of Jackson, Mississippi HT7 still hadn't seen the light. Hell he struggled through the Shula years like the rest of the gumps (Even has a signed Brodie Croyle jersey to prove it).

It wasn't until the summer of 2008 when HT7 took his orientation day to Oxford that his allegiance changed. Never again would his gump upbringing cloud his vision. Though he still has to see the Crimson clocks and clay elephants when he goes to the parents he now see's the light and is a saved man.

He has been on both sides and the grass is greener in the grove. But frick Auburn still. Those guys suck.

Saban is just a recruiter. Freeze will out coach him Saturday night. DWI

So you spent your whole shitty life living in Mississippi and Alabama as a Bama fan and jumped off the wagon right before Saban took them back to prominence.

I want to tell myself that "Rebal" is a portmanteau of "rebel" and "Alabama" and that OP is actually quite clever... but I've never been good at lying (convincingly) to myself.

Great read. I really liked the part about the move, it was riveting. I'm going to read again right now.

Absolutely not

If they were smart they would do a 30 for 30 how I didn't let Gump society keep me down. I pushed through the struggles of my childhood to make something of myself and get out of the struggle that was Gump fandom.

So as soon as Bama got respectable again you switched to Ole Miss? Are you a masochist?
