Why should he? We're constantly told this isn't an LSU board, so I'm not sure why perspectives from non-LSU fans wouldn't be pertinent.

Exactly. Glad Collins is doing the right thing and hope he is innocent.

Why not at least say "they dated" or "they were friends" or "she was pregnant with his baby"? Odd to just completely avoid the topic.

Because she was talking to The Advocate, not the police. Answer that question, and next thing you know your quote is being used in a misleading article. Potentially. That's why the police instruct you to not speak about any ongoing investigation.

Yes. All you've done is machine gun the messenger. Nobody knows anything, and if they do, they should speak up
I am machine gunning anyone who calls him a suspect, because that is wrong

On ESPN radio Baton Rouge this morning they said that at the time of the murder LaEl was in Atlanta boarding a plane for Chicago.

Doesn't mean he couldn't have orchestrated it somehow. I hope not though.

That is true, which is why I did not provide any commentary. I simply paraphrased what was said on radio. Interpret the information however you see fit.

doesn't seem like someone guilty of orchestrating a murder would volutarily skip the draft and return to Louisiana to talk to police and submit to tests. just how i see it

So he was in Atlanta flying to Chicago at 10p on Friday night? That's a weird flight time for an event nearly a week away.

I agree with this. Returning is the smart move here. Glad he's making it.

A woman is killed and you came to this thread, hoping Collins did it.

Nope, got on tSECR early this morning, saw this thread at the top of the page and offered my thoughts. It's a sad story and I feel bad for Collins due to the timing of it this close to the draft and his probable non-involvement in her death.

But your childish reaction has been duly noted.

Meh, I know nothing would thrill most of secr crowd more than if Collins was arrested for this.

Speaks to how pathetic the general ranter is when one of these threads pops up and explodes.

just like the tennessee thread last week of the von pearson rape deal. People so excited about it. No one should be happy a human being does something so cruel to another human being. Rather its rape, murder, domestic violence, or whatever.. football needs to be put aside, these are terrible things no one should be happy other teams players may or may not have done. Lives are ruined, a baby is there now without any parents. Terrible situation

Don't have to be a "gumshoe" to figure out the poster who said he was in Atlanta getting on a flight on Friday night when the woman was murdered didn't know what he was talking about.

Collins was in Atlanta on Tuesday (yesterday) to board flight to Chicago
quote:

When WAFB contacted Collins by text message Tuesday, he replied that he was in Atlanta boarding a plane for Chicago and that his agent would be contacting the station for comment. His agent has not yet done so.

Again, I'm sure he had nothing to do with this, but the blind accusations and blind defense could both use a dose of realism.

No, I just think you're intellectually inferior to almost everyone on here.
