Get ready to see us go Johnny whole staff tomorrow even with Aoki and Byrd available. Wes wants to force our lesser bullpen arms into tight spots to get them ready for postseason.

No idea what to expect out of this team in Hoover. If we actually take it seriously, we can absolutely be playing on Sunday. But I could also see Wes throwing some of our back half arms just to get them experience.

I love Hoover but at this point it’s absolutely a detriment entering regional play. Sucks but it is what it is.

Wes 'The Mad Scientist' Johnson is capable of anything. Have no idea what our pitching lineup will be tomorrow or in Hoover.

Being passive aggressive bc of the lack of faith yall had in this team leading up to the series.

Truthfully we have t been in this position hardly ever so idk how we manage it needing only 3 wins to win the tournament. On the one hand, could be an easy way to dress rehearse for regionals and supers. On the other, we have nothing left to prove at this point and likely aren’t going to move past UCLA or Tech in seeding even with the tourney win so what’s the point.

You’re arguing with a straw-man of your own invention to manufacture some sort of “chip on your shoulder” lol.

It’s nice to only have to do the weekend rotation rather than dig into the Tuesday guys.

At this point yeah just pack it in. The point is proven.

Who the frick is "yall?" You're young and lashing out at one poster who argued RPI.

1: That poster said you could sweep us.

2: I'm not that poster.

I'll take it Texas is locked into the double bye and opposite Georgia till the end. 2 vs 3 is pretty irrelevant in the end.

I think any win(s) we get from here on out will help us to stay about UNC et al and be in the driver's seat for the 3 seed which woudl be cool.

I understand wanting to get our inexperienced arms ready for postseason but not sure why we wouldn't throw aoki today. If we don't it'll be what, like 2 weeks between appearances for him? Seems like a long time off.

Yeah I would definitley get him some work. I am not in the school of thought which sits players. Other than if they may be nursing minor injuries. Same with the tournament. You coach your team to have a winning mindset, period. I would pitch the normal rotation just maybe limit their pitches a little bit.

I’d still worry about the pitching coming out of the pen but man the starters absolutely worked us.

I’m worried about the pitching in general but it’s weird people say the bullpen is the weakness. We’ve got 5-6 arms I feel good about in the bullpen with a ton of versatility. And one of them typically ends up our #3 starter because that’s been the weak link all year. But I guess if you remove our best reliever and pencil him in as starter #3 then starters look better

Am I reading this correctly that if bama loses today and Florida wins, we get the 4 seed in the SEC tourney?

Earley is a genius. Bring in your closer from yesterday that threw 51 pitches to relieve your current pitcher whom is on a hot streak. The relief pitcher then gives up an immediate 2 run HR.
