Auburn up 2-0 so far tonight. Gotta think they have the advantage in this series due to MSU pitching staff being light outside of their Friday night guy.

McPherson is back this weekend, supposedly starting tomorrow. He was our ace before injury.
Oh and interesting that our “light” pitching staff beat OM 4 times this year
ETA pitching isn’t our problem thus far. Our starter and AU starter have performed similarly the difference is we haven’t had clutch hits with runners on base and they have.

Auburn 4-2 bottom of the fifth. Bullpen game now. Long way to go.
McPherson most likely will be on a pitch count. I would say somewhere between 30-50 pitches would be his target.
Our pitching is not bad. We had one bad inning at Texas last weekend. Otherwise we were pretty good.

Also it’s bullshite that Texas had a cancelled conference game and it helps them stay ahead in the conference standings
