VOLS just happened to stumble arse backwards into hiring the best coach in the sport. We didn’t really pay much attention prior to Tony and the interest will fade quickly the further removed we are from his time here

The catching is a huge glaring deficit. Still can’t keep runners honest and zero finesse framing pitches beside the fact that we have lost 5 games this season because our catcher can’t fricking catch the ball.

Thanks. A&M is a really good team. Feel fortunate to have won the one. We’re down 7 top pitchers due to injury. Game 3s have been a disaster for us all season.

Just wondering…when was the last men’s sport Tennessee cared about that won a title?

It felt like Georgia was just spinning breaking balls at the bottom of the zone all night and State never got a handle on it. Kudos for UGA for the series win. I was unsure what to make of UGA going into this weekend but you don’t win series in both Starkville and College Station without being really good.

Not going to freak out about State at this stage, they’ve exclusively lost close games to ranked teams at this point. But could definitely use a win tomorrow. A little bit of a weird State team this year. They can run anyone off the field on a given day and win a lot of games via blowout, but haven’t done the little things well in close games. That can certainly evolve as the year goes on. But right now it’s the reason why this team has lost two SEC series already.
