What if white folks did this in regards to white players? Why don’t whites demand more white players? Blacks have nearly all the players, now they want nearly all the coaches...yeah that sounds fair and equal***
Basically, whites are being told to step out of the way when it comes to sports.......except for their money and support...somehow that’s still okay...and if you disagree, frick you...

ESPN radio is just as bad now. Everything is political correctness so I quit listening. They have gone way over the edge.
Everything has gone of the edge with this stuff.

In my opinion a false accusation of racism is as bad as racism itself.
It isn't about qualification anymore. It's all about skin color. (Even though O's first choice was black). Until there are more black head coaches or coordinators than there are white HC and Coord it will always be about race.

Unless there is a game on I want to watch, I'm not watching ESPN. Everything they air that is not a sporting event is advertising for a game they or ABC are showing later or random filler like the BLM bullshite they have been pushing for about the last decade, although most fans only got wise to it over the last few years.
It is a shame too. I loved 90s era ESPN. A few months ago, my mom found my old ESPN Zone t-shirt that I got from the one in Inner Harbor Baltimore in 1999. I told her to donate it to Purple Heart although it still fits.
ESPN can't really get by on the SportsCenter model it built itself on anymore. Everyone has a smart phone, with access to live streams, YouTube, etc. 24/7. I don't have to spend 45 minutes watching highlights of games I don't care about to see what happened in the ones I do care about anymore.
So in response to that they shifted from reporting on sports to controversy creation. It's all about paying some douchebag like Skip Bayless to say something controversial on a morning broadcast, have their talking heads post a clip of it on their Twitter feeds, and then report on what [insert pro athlete] said in his own Twitter feed in response.

He was a choice down the list. There is Freeman, and the Saints coach that the public is aware of. There are others as well - it wasn't just razzing when I said that LSU couldn't fill their DC position. They couldn't. Had to go to the NFL and pick up a mediocre DB coach
Race had nothing to do with it
Race had nothing to do with it

African American gentleman from Cincinnati.

almost every coach considered for DC was black. Marcus Freeman, Derek Mason, and Daronte Jones. Only one that wasn't I can think of is Neilson from the Saints. LSU currently has 5 black assistant coaches and 5 white assistant coaches.

I never turn on ESPN except for a game or other sporting event. Never watch their talk shows. It’s been evident for a while but when I saw the clip of Herbsteit crying his crocodile tears over BLM I knew they had jumped the shark.

Misogynistic maybe, but racist maybe not.

ESPN can go frick themselves with their virtue signalling and their opinions.... I never listen to their opinions on anything... I tune in to watch the games but I'd rather have a root canal using unwashed equipment minus the novocaine than listen to what they have to say... Ed O is a lot of things but if he's racist then Cam Newton is the world's leading authority when it comes to fashion...

ESPN is a bunch of Liberal cucks. Frick them.

Ed Orgeron like any other HC in the country is color blind when it comes to getting the best coaches and putting the best players on the field. HC's just want to freaking WIN, that's all.

Yes
We ended up hiring 4 defensive coaches
2 black including the DC
And 2 white
It feels disgusting having to post these numbers

Outside of live games, I haven't watched ESPN programming in probably two years. It's unwatchable.

Most normal people don't brag about having 5 EO complaints against them.

It annoyed me on ESPN but watching the tourney games made me realize how saturated they are with it. You really can't go 10 minutes without one form or another of it.
I didn't even know the Colgate kids kneeled. The talking heads actually talked about sports. It was refreshing. I don't want to go back.
