Freshman or new starter that impressed you the most in first game?

For me it was DE Jordan Allen. He got some pressure on the Qb and forced them to make quick decisions on option plays. He bated down a pass and made a few nice tackles and showed a great motor. I never realized how big he was at 6'6 260lbs and had nice enough quickness and speed to make a tackle from behind on a RB who had lots of space in front of him.

Landon Collins played over half the snaps on defense and never missed an assignment, he was a beast on punt coverage also. Cyrus Jones played well at corner, I don't recall him even being thrown at. Tenpenny looked pretty good on a few carries.

Only got to watch the LSU TCU game due to work, so I'd say Magee or Ego.
I'm sure there were others I missed though.
Also, first post after years of lurking. You guys are awesome BTW, most entertaining forum I've ever seen.

Jordan Allen was a hell of a lot better than I expected so I'm gonna have to agree.

Welcome aboard
I think ferguson is better than Johnson, but gets overlooked because he doesn't have a catchy nickname and the face of a 40 year old cage fighter.

We play a lot of dime, which is where LC comes in. As of now, he isn't a starter in our base D. We pretty much ran nickel and dime the majority of the game though.

Montravius Adams was demanding double teams from the moment he stepped on the field.
