This is an honest question because I just haven't followed him much: aside from the hookers for recruits, what else has he done to earn so much hatred? Again, I'm genuinely curious

He's a habitual liar. And he does this while claiming moral high ground thanks to his salvation.

He was worried about losing recruits while under investigation at Ole Miss. So he lied to the press and said the investigation was mostly about track and women's basketball. Then when it was clear that it wasn't, he said it was about infractions committed when Hootie Dale Nutt was coach. He leaked this to the media and of course, Nutt wasn't happy. Nutt demanded a retraction and apology; Freeze told him to pound sand. So, Nutt sued, and in the ensuing discovery, his phone calls to hookers were discovered.

It's never been just about hookers. Hugh Freeze is a known piece of shite. A lot of Ole Miss folks have come to despise him. A lot of his former players have come to despise him. And some of us who grew up with him and know his family are hardly surprised by any of this.

It will crash and burn at Auburn at some point because he can't help himself. He's a narcissistic sociopath.

People tend to revile massive hypocrites and phony moralizing degenerates. It’s the deceit more than the behavior itself.

Word in Memphis from people who know him is that Tennessee was his dream job. Ole Miss happened because of the Tuohys and Michael Oher.

What exactly does this mean? Who is he talking about?

And I’m not gonna get offended over the shots, for the most part they are true, but does he forget we fired him with cause? How in the world does he justify saying things like that? Who is he trying to convince?

shite, the only way he ever became a football coach was dumb luck. He was also the girls basketball coach at Briarcrest (and yes, there are stories). He won some titles in that role, and tried to parlay it into getting the head women's gig at University of Memphis. Of course they passed, because he's a scumbag. But if he had gotten that job, we may never have known Hugh Freeze the college football coach.

All you need to know is Guthrie’s Chicken Tenders> Walmart Chicken Tenders.

I have a 13 year old too...we'd like to be on Lake Martin but she insists on finishing out school. I appreciate that and will adhere. Sugar Hill, GA ain't my final spot but we'll appease her until we can get to where we really want. I understand Lane's predicament...the shite you put up with for kids. Good dad.

Auburn didn’t go far enough by just limiting his social media exposure. What a fool.

Yeah, to say the absolute least.

His time at Briarcrest is the real story.

I have friends from Memphis who were at school there at the time who swear he’s a full blown predator.

Your current head coach is looking to bail and reluctantly signed his extension. It’s a stone cold truth that WAOM is a steppingstone program.

That isn’t the point. The point is how does he feel justified in making statements like that after all the bodies he left here in his wake. I mean I could list all the things but you’ve read them all before.

To top it off he’s only making these statements today because things did not work with Kiffin, for whatever reasons those were.

He’s y’all’s now, it’s nothing we OM fans need to dwell on, it just feels so strange and tells us he is not very sorry about his actions

In most years OM is just a W in the column at the start of the season.

Not really worried. If Bryan Harsin can beat OM, Hugh definitely can

Might want to tell him to get a defense first. That could hurt a bit.
