The three major names that will likely be targeted in all of this are Aubrey Hill, Frank Haith, and Clint Hurtt.
Just saw this from another article. Who are Aubrey Hill and Clint Hurrt? They coaching anywhere?

Fuller should get the team and if they do reasonably well the rest of this year I'd just as soon make him the permanent HC.

We're just doing our best to give you guys something to talk about in the off season. Taking Arky's role from last year.

Again? How many death penalties can one school amass?

Aubrey Hill is a former Gator player. He left Miami to coach at UF. After the rumblings came out about his involvement he "resigned" from UF.

Shannon has his guys taking the fall for this.

Back when Frank Haith was hired, our AD acknowledged that his reputation was hinging on his hire of Frank Haith seeing as it was an unpopular choice.
quote:

When asked whether his reputation rode on the back of Haith’s success, Alden said he expects fans to hold him accountable. “I think so, I think that's safe to say that it is,” he said. “It’s part of my responsibility, those decisions have to be made. You're going to make decisions that are not popular.”

So now, Alden's reputation is at stake too

Apparently we have to declare why we would want to hire a coach that is a rules violating sumbitch.

The success last year with Haith and the moderate success this year with Haith will allow Alden to skate clean I bet. If both seasons were dumpster fires AND you had this show cause issued, then it might be a different story. But now, at least, he can arguably say "Yeah, but he was a good basketball coach. Look at this record. How was I supposed to know he was unethical."

Other former coaches, namely former basketball assistants Jake Morton and Jorge Hernandez, have come under intense scrutiny as well.
Either of these guys at Mizzou with Haith?

Is it really this bad for Mizzou fans wanting him fired now?

It wasn't like this was all a secret during the hiring. He gambled on a fairly unknown guy and lost.

He should get some of this.

Clint Hurtt is at Louisville. He's the guy that got Teddy Bridgewater there as well as some other So. Florida guys.

He hasn't proven to be that great of a coach anyways IMO. Last season he had an incredible group of players (mostly seniors) who would've won with any coach who runs a reasonable offensive scheme. His assistant coach Ernie Nestor was the brains behind the operation when it came to drawing up plays. With those seniors gone and with our mastermind Nestor gone, this season has been a big let down, as players have failed to find their roles, gel together, offensive production is way down, defense is still terrible. I was never sold on Haith for these reasons

He will get some of this but I just don't think it will cost him his job or anything. I could be dead wrong but I didn't think the Miami allegations were public until after the hire.

Frank Haith expected to be charged with unethical conduct
quote:
The source told CBSSports.com that the NCAA was unable to prove the allegation from Miami booster Nevin Shapiro that Haith or anyone on his staff paid $10,000 to a family member of former player DeQuan Jones. However, Haith will be charged with unethical conduct because the NCAA did not believe his story that payments to his assistants intended for camp money did not wind up going to repay Shapiro, who made the allegations to Yahoo Sports back in August of 2011.

Can't prove it, but don't believe you.

fricking NCAA.

Not saying he's clean, but seriously?

Seriously...where the frick was that common sense during Camgate?

We know your dad asked for money. We know that your dad's church got a butt load of money out of nowhere. And we know that you were set to enroll at Mississippi St. but for whatever reason, you just up and decided to change your mind after hanging out with Trooper Taylor for a weekend. Meh...go ahead Cam, War Eagle anyway.
