Do you not understand how a power ranking works?

Seriously who did Tennessee beat
Posted on 1/2/16 at 6:47 pm to RebelExpress38
Arkansas, at 7, beat 2,3 and 4 on the road.

A&M is too high and Florida should be above Auburn.

Lol @UT's ranking.
Also, (obligatory) A&M too high

Tenn? Really? Looks good besides Tenn, and obviously your bias is at work.
ETA: Also, Florida at 10? You clearly are weighing the bowl games too heavily. Northwestern isn't exactly a true top 15 team. They got crushed by the only good teams on their schedule they played during the season including the bowl game.

Florida was the East champs with 10 wins this season.

While going 6-1 in the last 7 in that span with a 1 point loss in there.
If it's a power ranking, then recent performance should matter to include the bowl win.

Keep in mind that while Arkansas beat 2,3, and 4 on the road, they also led #1 on the road into the 4th quarter, didn't play 5, and lost when they couldn't convert a FG against #6.
Arkansas has narrow losses and they get relegated. Tennessee almost beats someone in the top half of the league, and they're annointed the Next Big Thing.
SMH.

This is actually one of the most accurate rankings I have seen. I would push Florida up to 7th, but that would be my only change.

And they would be an underdog on a neutral field to every team above them on that list with the exception of perhaps the Aggies. I always took power rankings to be sort of a Vegas point spread indication of the current landscape.
