His first two games were FCS opponents. LF faced a an FBS opponent in his debut and Peterson did not share the backfield with like LF has to. But carry on with your negativity. Negatigers are bitches

Overall, not very happy that he's taking carries from Magee, who is a better back at this point.

Agreed. Im not ready to call LF KW yet but its clear he needs some time to develop at the position. Magee is a proven complete back and legit home run threat

Man, this is getting fricking ridiculous. The Heisman pose was juvenile, and it irked me just seeing it. But the amount of people already crying failure or mediocrity needs to stop.

Adrian Peterson didn't exactly look all world in his debut in college. It took him a couple games to get rolling

LULZ, I don't know how LF will end up doing, but you are talking out of your a-hole again...

Go take another look at AP's freshman season.

What? Jeremy hill just set the sec record for yards per carry in a season. 200 carries minimum

If only he could have gotten over his urge to cuddle with random strangers.

I said he'd be a solid dependable back. That's not failure. I just refuse to propogate the hype when I can't see it on the field.

I don't think he'll be mediocre. However, he has A LOT of improvement to make. He's looked awful reading holes and running through two games.

I just think a player should have to earn his carries. Fournette has not.

AP didn't face FCS opponents in his first two games.

AP freshman stats

Come on, man, so he's probably not going to be Adrian Peterson. Peterson is one of the best running backs of all time so that's not too much of a surprise.

What? The coaches lsu pays to decide these things disagree with you. There isn't a hole in LF ' S game. He is big , powerful and the state 100 meter champ. Anyone with knowledge of LSU'S offensive strategy knew LF wasn't gonna get the carries to be anywhere close to the Heisman.

It's two games in and y'all continuously nag about this subject.
Pretend you have watched some football in your life.

Each level of football takes time to get use to. Yea some guys will be immediate game changers but just cuz a guy hasn't had a breakout game yet just two games in doesn't mean he won't be great.

Fournette is gonna be amazing .

I truly believe he is the best back LSU will have produced in the last 10 years once its all said and done.

Let the guy adjust to the college level and then we will talk.

Half of the people on here probably have never watched him in high school and are just making "YouTube " assumptions.

He has everything you want in a back!
