Obviously things can change, but it may be a down draft for the sec if his top ten somehow holds up ,somewhat. Only 2 players in top 10 from the sec.

Mel Kiper Jr. is already looking ahead to the 2021 NFL Draft.
During a recent appearance on ESPN morning show “Get Up,” the NFL Draft analyst shared the top 10 prospects on his debut 2021 “Big Board” and interestingly, only two players from the SEC made the list.
Kiper has Ja’Marr Chase at No. 4 and Patrick Surtain II at No. 7.
No surprise, Kiper already has Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields at No. 1 and No. 2 on his board despite the fact they both would have to declare early for the draft and could potentially stay in college for two more seasons.
After unveiling his top 10, Kiper was asked if Joe Burrow or Lawrence would have been drafted first in the 2020 NFL Draft if both players had been eligible to be selected in the draft.
“Joe Burrow, no doubt, anybody that argues the point differently I don’t get it,” Kiper answered. “How can you see those two on the field in that final game and think Joe Burrow wouldn’t have gone No. 1 over Trevor Lawrence? Considering Lawrence was struggling in the game prior to that against Ohio State, until I say, Shawn Wade left that football game and that game turned. So I think, no question, Joe Burrow would have been a lock to be No. 1.”

Just got a Bleacher Report notification for Matt Miller's Big Board. He has 6 Bama players in the top 25. Ja'Marr Chase at 3.

Watching Ja'Marr Chase play, you'd never think he was 6'1" and 208 pounds. He plays like a 6'4", 220-pounder who can dominate at the catch point and doubles with special speed, power and body control.
Chase is among the most naturally gifted receivers to play college football in the last several years. My first thought watching him play was "Julio Jones," as he often blows past defensive backs but is also incredibly physical in his routes and after the catch.
It bears watching whether Chase takes much of a hit with Joe Burrow and Joe Brady now in the NFL, but his raw talents are eye-opening and would have made him the top receiver in the 2017, 2018, 2019 or 2020 draft classes.
Damn

I'm not sure which one you're referring to. That's not where he's projecting them to be drafted. That's how he's ranking them.

Oh OK, the mock I saw was on the tiger rant. It had chase, marshal, shelvin, and stevens all going in 1st round. It was a mock draft, not a big board, which kipers is as well

Hey man, one other thing.
Do you think you could post or tell me how to post that video of all of Brennan's throws from last year? They may have it on YouTube still, or they may have it on that lsusports website.
I'd like to show everybody what he looks like, and get there ,non-trolling opinion, of possible.
Is it just the same as posting a quote, besides you copy and paste the URL or what

I think I got it, as long as the link the thread I started actually works

I find it difficult to judge Ja’Marr’s speed because he’s so smooth and often separates with strength and body control late in the route. I’m guessing high 4.4s. But that’s plenty fast, which goes to show how freaky Julio is

This is why Kiper is an idiot
When you draft a QB #1 overall you want to base that decision on more than just 1 or 2 games, you judge QBs on the totality of their career ( at least 24 starts) - my guess is that slightly more than half of the Teams in the NFL run by real GMs and not an idiot like Kiper would have taken TrevLaw #1 overall due to the fact that he has more upside than Burro and is almost 3 years younger than him
I guess if Kiper were around when Elway was coming out of Stanford, he wouldn't have gone #1 either, I mean he had plenty of rough games his last 2 yrs at Stanford
The most important thing in judging a QB coming out of College is, "does his shyt translate to the NFL", how hard does he work, and how fast does he learn
If Burro is this can't miss Cracker Jack Ace QB, then explain the first 4 years of his College Career?

Bc those were the only real teams Jennifer Lawrence played against last season, the rest were ACC cupcakes. Burrow didn't become LSU's starter until like August in 2018, so the chemistry wasn't there until late in the season. Also the OL was patchwork at best

What abt his first 3 years at Ohio State, I'm asking about Burro's first 4 years of College Ball

He had a better college career than Tom Brady.

OSU had a loaded QB room, and Meyer hasn't always made the right choice anyway, he started Teblow over Cam Newton and Barrett over Burrow or Haskins

JT Barrett was 2 years older and a starter since he was a freshmen.
LSU was Joe's first chance to starts
You can rant about him not being good enough to beat out Haksins (who threw 50 TDs last year) but it seems to everyone else that Joe was a better player.
Our scheme was pretty bad last year, and if you're an NFL guy you are probably smart enough to know that.

Players don’t ever get better as they gain experience.

He sat behind an established upperclassman starter for two seasons and then a top 6 draft pick for one. Also had an injury in that time.
Your boner for posting stupid shite about Burrow is weird.
