He had obvious weight issues as a senior in HS and working out on his own wasn't gonna help much and he also reported in fall camp instead of spring and probably woulda helped him a great deal had he showed in Spring.
BTW,I would guess there are lots 300 lb freshman OL that don't come to fall camp in the best of shape so don't get the LOL.BTW he did work hard in the weight room his redshirt year and rebuilt his body.
He was quite and kept to himself and didn't get in trouble from everything I've heard or read from people who covered the team.
