Does he associate himself much with the school anymore?

How is he doing? I always liked Richt even when UGA would do some pre-game shenanigans, Richt came across as a good dude.

He was a good coach, couldn’t get over that final hump, but I don’t think there’s a more “walk the walk” person to ever have coach more. If you wanted your son to be coached to become a man, mark richt was your coach. Congrats dawg.

He was a hell of a coach. I always thought he deserved to win a national title. I hope he’s doing well.

Yes, he and Kathern have moved back to Athens, his son Jon has a business in town and coaches at Prince Ave Christian. He is around the facility every so often acting as a mentor for young coaches on the staff, when he was feeling good in 2022 he came to the social with the high school coaches at the clinic.

He was a noble foe. He has a lot to do with how good Georgia is today.

He laid a great foundation for Kirby to build on, and did pretty well his time there himself.

He spoke at our church a few months back; a very nice and friendly gentleman. He mentioned his Parkinson’s diagnosis; he was a little slow in speaking but he still spoke well and told a lot of great stories. Great sense of humor as well, wasn’t afraid to make light of himself, both as a player and a coach. A real class act, I’m happy for his induction…

My grandmother's 2nd husband had it as well it's heartbreaking to watch, his mind was there but it could not connect with his body.

Congrats coach. A Bowden tree coach, I'll try not to hold that against him. He had a really good run, the sport could use more quality coaches like Mark.
