Wrestling died when he went to the WWE. The NWA days were the heyday of the sport.

Yeah, The Patriot was around for a while. He spent a lot of time wrestling in Japan. Had a short stint in the WWF in 97, but had to retire due to injury.
Not the SEC, but Roman Reigns played for Georgia Tech. Goldberg joked that a Yellow Jacket could never beat a bulldog.

Ryan Seacrest has an honorary degree from UGA despite dropping out. He commenced the 2016 graduation in Athens.

Its fricking hilarious that 'rasslin has a Hall of Fame. There's an age at which you should stop thinking rasslin is cool...and that age is 11.
