There was mention of "the first show" and collaborating in the comments. Several people also called him "man" or "dude" and he acted fine about it in his replies.

The "everybody has an opinion on how I ought to live my life" part indicates that whatever's coming up will be some sort of change to an unconventional lifestyle.
Is it possible that he means transitioning as in like his career? Kinda seems that's what he's talking about.
Brad was a fun player to watch. Whatever he does next, I hope it makes him happy.

Yet nothing in the original post itself
Maybe it is something different, but at first glance literally everyone is going to think what Gcockboi thought. If that's his way to generate buzz, he's already off on the wrong foot

Wow. Well if you didn't already think kickers were weird, this should convince you.

Idk. Several people have wished him happy retirement and such.
He's always seem to be a different type of dude to me so who knows.

LMAO at people saying it's ok and supporting mental illness.
I don't care how many body parts you cutoff or how much you pump yourself with estrogen, or how many wigs you wear, or what dresses you put on, you're still a man..

Why does it bother you so much?

Interesting quote here from 2015:
“Beckham’s own teammate, punter Brad Wing, offered the same brand of frat boy logic. He hinted that a photo of Beckham embracing a former LSU teammate may have triggered rumors of his homosexuality, then went on to elaborate that Beckham “was kind of actually happy about it, because all the girls he’s messing around with weren’t fighting with each other anymore.”

I think it's idiotic and dangerous to support mental illness. I support getting that person help. Serious question, would you support me identifying as a 2 year old girl? If not, why?
