I’m talking about science. You are talking about feelings.

That’s the liberal way. All about feelings. That’s not what this country was founded on.
Dismissing 60 years of sociology as "feelings" is anti-science, actually.

If you look at his Instagram page he is not talking about gender change. It’s transitioning out of football.

That's been tabled for the most part, waiting on Wing to let us know where we all stood on that.

We have Team Transitioning AKA "Jennerizing" VS Team Transitioning out of Football, the latter of which it appears you've joined the good side in my opinion.

The more current yet fluid debate is whether transgendering is a behavioral disorder caused by: Mental health issues AKA "Mental Disorder" or element of "Social Construct"... or is it a biological disorder caused by genetic disposition?

Sub debates include:

What does science tell us currently?

Should we follow science/biology, sociology or psychology to determine the primary cause?

Is sexual anatomy the primary indicator, a binary data point or mutually exclusive consideration all together?

Is gender fluid, fluid but dominant and eventually loyal to its foundation, set in stone or variable by way of
neuroplasticity?

Is science and sociology tied to party affiliations?

Are Aggies examples, benefactors or misidentified victims of gender non conformity due to ignorance and misguided social norms or bias?

Should LSU fans have the right to an opinion due to bias, eligible due to the misguided assumption Wing was talking about a transition out of football or given diplomatic immunity due to the governing body of this site & being greatest team in the history of college football?

It's a fluid situation where historical alliances may have no benefit leading up to friendly fire & civil war.

Concur, "Transitioning out of Football" is the unofficial official answer to debate #1.

The majority were "Transitioning/Jennerizing" posters & the majority of the stances in relation to Gender Identity Disorder/Gender Dysphoria/Transgendering et al were attached to the primary causes being "non biological" and the majority siding with "mental illness" vs "social construct".

Very few posters identified as pro "Transition from Football" & pro GID/GD/Transing being primarily caused by "Biological/Genetics".

"A biological male with an x and y chromosome, a penis, etc, etc should be acknowledged as a woman if he thinks he's a woman" = SCIENCE!!

There is the fact that the brainwave patterns of a transgendered person more closely resembles that of their preferred gender as well as many of the actual brain structures themselves.

The current theory is that during pregnancy, the fetus is, for some reason, exposed to high amounts of cross sex hormones that results in a change in the brain structure. If this is in fact the case, then the resolution to this becomes quite clear. All one must do is answer the question “what makes you, you”. What structure is responsible for who person really is? Most would agree that it is the brain that makes a person who they are. After all, many other body parts have been transplanted from one person to another. I mean, when Bill gets a heart transplant that came from Bob, we don’t start calling Bill, Bob. But what if we transplanted Bob’s brain into Bills body? Would we the refer to Bill as Bob? I’m pretty sure Bob (now in Bill’s body) would expect people to refer to him as Bob.

Besides. This issue isn’t a new issue at all. It’s been around as longer than humans have. It’s even observed in other species, granted not the taking of hormones and the surgeries part of it, but seeing males and females ofother species doing the behaviors of the opposite gender is observed in many species.

Personally, I don’t care what other people do as long as they are not causing unnecessary harm to other living beings.
