Former LSU football player Kelvin Joseph Jr. charged with DWI in deadly crash

Later in the day, the Plano Police Department received a call from Kelvin Joseph Jr., 25, who reported being involved in the accident.

RPD officials contacted Joseph and later determined that he was driving a BMW sedan when he collided with the motorcycle. Officials also observed signs of intoxication in Joseph.

IIRC, he was at LSU in 2018 and got suspended for violating team rules, then transferred to Kentucky, sat out a year there, then played in 2020, then jumped to the NFL.

I think he went in the portal at LSU then decided to stay, and then went back in the portal. There were some rumors that he was basically kicked off the team but not sure.

This seems to be a common theme among LSU football players. Perhaps LSU should offer additional drivers ed courses.
