Twitter Link

This Twitter has some interesting stuff for a few SEC schools. I could see how someone would get pissed off and send in something bad mouthing the coach though.

I’m so conflicted about stuff like this... on one hand if Les had had this attitude in 2012 we would 100% have won the west and had a good chance of beating UGA for the right to stomp Notre Dame.

But would Tyrann still be where he is today, or did getting kicked off save his life? That’s a question I’ve often pondered and know for a fact CLM has as well and still second guesses himself over.

As much as I love CFB, it is a bunch of kids playing a game. The Monday after the 2008 Iron Bowl, I went to work. The day after the 2010 BCS NCG, I drove back home to go to work. The Monday after Auburn completed its 3-9 2012 season (0-8 SEC record), I went to work.

I was living in the DC/NOVA area when Meyer went to Tosu. Unfortunately, I worked with a bunch of Tosu fans up there and I told them that he would import a culture that may get a lot of wins, but would not be good for the long term of their program.

When Meyer was at Florida, it was a pretty poorly kept secret that the athletes like a 3* from Stuart, FL who always wanted to be a Gator when he was growing up wasn't treated the same as the 4-5* guys who were in Gainesville to prime for the NFL. Local kid fricks up - suspended for 2 or 3 games. NFL prospect fricks up - run some Figure 8s in the bleachers and sit out for a half against FAMU.

As much shite as Muschamp gets, I am not sure anyone else could have done a better job begining to unfrick the mess Meyer left in Gainesville.

Most of the kids playing college ball won't be playing professionally at all, and even fewer will make a career out of playing professionally. Molding 17-23 year old young men into becoming productive members of society is much more important than conference or national titles for the university anyone attended or is just a sidewalk fan of.

It is well know he had a special circle for the good players. Your point on Muschamp is a good one. Dude wasn't a very good HC but he did clean up some of the mess.

Put your name on it, or frick off. Same goes for these anonymous coaches that come out of the woodwork pre-draft.

While I agree with his assessment of Meyer, I don't believe anonymous sources. Also what head coach doesn't lie and scheme to win as many games as possible? Who doesn't tell the occasional lie or half-truth? And if you don't have a scheme to win what are you doing on the job?

scheme /skem/
noun
1. a large-scale systematic plan or arrangement for attaining some particular object or putting a particular idea into effect.

Sounds like Nick Saban and his coaching rehab clinic he runs that Alabama. He’ll do anything to get wins too he has no loyalty to players, if you’re under performing and he has some five stars he really wants You bet your arse them under performing players are getting processed To make room

This is what’s always confused me about Tebow. Unless he was just a lifelong gator fan it makes no sense that a guy like him would want to play for a coach like that

Meyer came to Florida as a disciplinarian style coach, which was supposed to be the anti Ron Zook who was not. We didn't have many off the field issues with Spurrier as coach and started having them when Zook was the coach. Meyer actually had the rep as a hard nosed coach who did things the right way. Yeah we were all fooled. Tebow committed to Florida after Meyer's first year, so I don't think anyone knew just how different Meyer was from his reputation for another year or so.

Maybe he doesnt feel safe, isnt it all but confirmed that his players at Florida have been responsible for like 5 murders.
