WHERE WILL THEY BE IN 2015 COACH CHIZIK AND COACH SABAN

As I was trying to get back to a normal day after yesterday's roller coaster ride I started thinking about how far Coach Chizik has brought our program in such a short time. When the coaching change was made I was neither excited nor disappointed in the selection of Chizik. Certainly, his lack of wins at Iowa State were not indicative of his success as a defensive coordinator. The dynamics at a place like Iowa State are light years away from any program in the SEC. I was more indifferent to the hiring. I simply felt like he was our new coach and he deserved the chance to prove himself either way. The programwas not where it should be when he arrived and it seemed like we needed a new enthusiasm for Auburn football. As he started to assemble his staff it got my attention right away. The staff he assembled as we now know was impressive. Chizik said at the time of his hiring he had a plan. He also said something else that caught my attention. He stated what we all knew "That Auburn is a very special place." It was then that I felt two things would change. First, that this staff would sell our university to the very best recruits across the nation. Secondly, that for the first time in a long time we had a coach that was interested in being at Auburn for a very long time. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought in two short years we would be National Champs and one of the top 5 schools in recruiting. Remarkable indeed. It is a credit to Coach Chizik, his staff and most certainly the players who bought in to his vision. This leads me to this question... Where will Coach Chizik and Coach Saban be in 2015
When Coach Chizik was introduced there were snickers across the state from BAma fans that quite honestly turned to belly aching laughter. So many snide remarks about how far we had fallen behind them. It would be years, decades maybe even centuries before we could compete against them again. And while Auburn flounders Bama football would be a dynasty winning national championships year after year. They would dominate recruiting in the state. After all their coach is Nick Saban and we had just hired a coach with a 5-19 record as a head coach.
Please give me a moment while I stop laughing.
I believe when 2015 rolls around and it will not be that long folks Coach Chizik will still be at Auburn University. He will have had an impressive streak of 10+ victory seasons. He will have won several SEC Championships. He will have proudly watched as his coaches become head coaches. He will become a cornerstone of not just Auburn University, but the Auburn community as well. In this day and age it is very hard for a coach to stay at the same school for more than 8-10 years. It takes a special demeanor. Chizik may have this quality. I see him at Auburn for a long time. Coach Chizik loves Auburn and Auburn loves him.
As for Coach Saban, I truly believe he is year to year right now. He has never been anywhere as a head coach past 5 years. There is a reason for that. He is very hard to work for. The qualities that make him a successful coach also work against him. Assistant coaches do not stay for very long. There are strong indications he is not that happy at UAT. Who would be, but that is another story. I do not think he likes his own fan base. Chizik embraces his fan base. I see Saban bolting within 2 years to the NFL or possibly another college job away from the SEC.
The clock in ticking...

I just had a cajun seasoned roast beef sandwich. It was very good. Thanks for asking.

If you went back to January-August of 2011 I'm sure you could find hundreds more just like it. Funny how things change.

Who the hell wrote this shite?
I see it was in 2011, but since Saban has been at Bama it's obvious he's loved it more than other places. We now know he'll retire here.

I guess this guy thought that Cam Newton was on more than a one year contract...

Has this writer committed suicide yet?
After the 2010 NC I thought AU would be a top contender for years. But two years later they got burned by Johnelle and his hot piss.
Meanwhile Iowa State is doing very well.

No, it was just a poster on the Auburn message board... 10 days ago he posted this in response to someone calling him a sunshine pumper:

I will tastefully disagree. Time will tell. Who is sugar coating? Any judgment made on Chizik should be based on 2013 period. We will improve throughout this year and it will be evident, but if the number of wins is the only way you can judge this team then you will need to reserve FINAL judgment on Chizik until after next year. It is only fair.

I don't think 2013 will be any better for AU. Chizik seems to be in over his head as a HC.

When you get to be Johnelle's age it takes awhile for the piss to warm up. I expect lots of piss burns now that he is hot.

This has to have been written by a troll, even in 2011.

I enjoy coming to this site because there is no place on the interwebs that college football news breaks faster
But after scanning for that I don't hang around that much because most opinions posted here are about as spot on as this one was.

He's still defending it

The best part to me were the responses - all patting him on the back and agreeing with him. I love it.

The worst thing a parent can do with a budding pitcher is letting them throw to many curve balls. Really messes with a still-growing elbow.

What I don't understand is Chiz getting the contract he did?
Didn't anyone realize without Cam Chiz did nothing?
Although I must say "CHIZ FOR LIFE!!"
