You have a Vandy logo next to your screen name.
I have very strong doubts you went there.

The Arkansas job is the key stepping stone to the aelansaa job. If you didn't know that then I can't help you.

Its hard to recruit to Aelansaa much less pronounce, besides who wants to coach in Greece?

He wanted the aelansaa job when we hired bert. He waited until we hired him before taking the auburn job. If he was willing to choose Arkansas the first go around why wouldn't he choose us now? This doesn't mean Arkansas is the better school just means sometimes guys wanna coach at home

I agree that this is a strong possibility. I always had a feeling from the first day we hired him that Arkansas was always his first choice. As an Auburn man through and through, I understand that and if he chooses that I will have no harsh feelings. If he doesn't go this year he will probably never go. But Gus has also got to know that if he leaves, this will continue to happen: 2017/10/21 Auburn 52 - Arkansas 20 2016/10/22 Auburn 56 - Arkansas 3
I kind of doubt this would be the norm especially in your first year with a new head coach whoever that would be. However, its funny seeing all the auburn fans and some Alabama fans defend him staying at Auburn. Dude was on the hot seat for half the season. He very well could have lost his job this year had he lost to texas a&m and Miss State. Hell if he chokes the Alabama game away Auburn may be showing him the door then and telling him to take the Arkansas job. So maybe he just wants to go somewhere else that not only home but where he doesn't have to worry about job security for another 5 years. This is kinda of Gus's trademark. When the pressure gets turned up, he leaves. He did this to Auburn when Chizik was there.

Arky fans have always had the weirdest obsession with Gus. They hated him the last few years and now they are all in for him again. I feel bad for them.
