The vast majority of posts I have read on the Tiger Rant, SEC Rant and Ole Miss Rant are enjoying the events surrounding CHF's downfall or they express anger at and disdain for the man. Certainly his actions have and will affect many, many people associated with OM negatively. Such is often the result of our sins.

But everyone should be cognizant of Jesus' admonition regarding the woman caught in adultery...he who is without fault should cast the first stone.Who among us is without fault? None.We have all fallen short and we can all say: "There but for the grace of God go I". I state this for the Christians because I know non Christians will not understand this.( I love you anyway)1 Cor.v. 18

HF will suffer more than anyone as a result of his actions. But our God is a forgiving God and He will forgive HF just as He does us for our shortcomings. I urge you Christians out there to pray for HF and his family as they rebuild from this devastation. Peace

One time, on draft day, I saw this Mizzou player kiss another dude and smear cake on his face, and that was the gayest thing I'd ever seen until I read your OP.

only wish you could come to know the love and compassion of our shortcomings that only Christ can provide. We all know that we don't get it from our fellow man and I am the first to fall short in that regard.

If Christ will forgive people like Freeze for manipulating others through his teachings. Then I think Christ will forgive most of us that live our lives the best we can and don't follow a cult mentality of organized religion.

This passage is not in the earliest manuscripts we have. It is probably a later textual interpolation. It is a good story to preach from, though. Whatever its textual history is.

I find what is happening hughmorous lol. But I also pray for him and his family. He needs to quietly get his life together and fall on God's grace out of the spotlight. He without sin cast the first stone. I won't be throwing any rocks. But like anyone ..he must pay the consequences for his own sins. Repentance doesn't come without a price. Butts price is to pay the attorneys. Hughes is what?..we shall see. The show must go on

We are called to "judge" the body of the Church. I feel like this is missed quite a bit. Check out 1 Corinthians 5:12.

For context best to read 11 and 12.

I am aware of it and it was written to people of Corinth to make certain that they were following the word of God as a body and not inserting any other elements. I am also aware of Proverbs 27:17 where it is written "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." However, man does not sit in judgement of other men, only God sits in judgement.

James 4:12 states "There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?"

He was a girl's high school basketball coach. If he didn't see this coming and didn't prepare years ago not even God can save him. Hugh Freeze walked out of this the king.
