Weird shite happens all the time in CF, get the onside kick and who knows on the hail Mary. It happens every season.

That said, you guys fought harder and played more intense. It was a great win, go enjoy it.

Hell, they won 3 out of 4, so let them beat their chest. Nobody and I mean nobody outside of the Big 12 really thinks they are on par with the SEC in football. The SEC performed the best against ooc p5 over the course of the season, not the Big 12. Hell an average SEC team even beat the Pac 12 Champ during the season. The SEC gets a team in the playoffs every year, and two last year. Their 3-1 record vs SEC in one bowl season is trivial in the grand scheme of things. Let them have this little victory. Just roll your eyes and laugh at them for having this and only this over the SEC.

That month off from actually playing games does weird things to some teams. I am fairly confident if these games were played right after the last official season game, the SEC rolls.

Such is life.

So, the SEC dominates the Big 12-8-9, Big 10-11, ACC, and Pac 9-12-10 (none of ya'' can count worth a crap) for a million years and the one year the Big 12 wins more than they lose, they are the chit. Ok. Have fun. Next year, things will be back to normal. You beat Vanderbilt and Missouri (Big 12 sister). Ok. You must be so proud. Yep, you beat UGA. That was a good win. But, it was the only one, really.

it actually helps defensive teams, defenses tend to start the year ahead of the offenses and as the year progresses the offenses tend to get better and better, with each practice, and just as they reach their peak, they make them take a month off,

I’m convinced as well that the experience level of the coach contributes a lot to their ability in keeping their team prepared to play. Many of the SEC losses came from relatively younger head coaches as far as experience goes. And we lost to experienced coaches like Ferentz and Gundy.

We did pack it in a bit early resting our starters after the Benny Snell touchdown but we never trailed in that game despite giving up some trash time TD's.

which is very true, he threw out stats from previous seasons and tried to put words in your mouth, just because you are a Bama fan I guess,

Take away the first qtr in the CFP then the mighty S E C would be 0-4.

I bet taking a quarter away from a game would change a lot of results. Are we just going to ignore that Bama had a 4 td lead and ran clock after the first? I mean Tua literally threw more td passes than incompletions and OU can't even defend a simple slant pass and you don't think Bama could get a first down anytime they wanted to?

On the other hand, Ohio State could have put up 70 on Missagain in november.

Yet...OSU only put up 20 on a Purdue team that gave up 56 points in the first half against Auburn.

OP and his “if only” argument reeks of aggy.

And that Sooner scumbag from later in this stupid thread is correct- I was 0% rooting for OU to beat Bama. Are you kidding? Just because we are in the same conference?? What a joke.

Look I get aggy playing the “b-b-b-but Bama is good” card- their newest tradition is victory-by-proxy- but not sure I get why any of the rest of y’all would pull for a team you play/ recruit against every year. LSU seems to get it.

Botttom line- frick OU but Jesus at least they have the balls/ pride to hate us too, no matter what.

Except 2012 when your collective fan base was slobbering OU balls in the hopes they’d beat aggy

Oklahoma scored on every possession after the first quarter and got just as many stops as bama did.

Yes, except for the last drive in the first half.
Kinda equal to Alabama not scoring on its last drive...No, it is not. Alabama ended the game at the OU 6 going to the victory knee with 00:45 left.

Game was not competitive except to Sooner fans who envisioned two onsides kick recoveries and two additional scores.
