OK -> Auburn

Vandy -> USCe

We play UK this weekend so if their first loss is USC, then our's would be UK. I think our first loss will be at UGA.

@ the Swamp is a more sure bet for the Vols. I don’t feel comfortable saying we lose at home (I know, again) to UGA. It’s more of a toss up right now with a UGA lean.

I don't expect UGA to lose to anyone....I also do not expect UGA to go undefeated. The thing is UGA is at worse a field goal underdog to the toughest teams on the schedule, if that. Its impossible to say when the first loss will come, if it comes at all, but the first test is Tennessee in Knoxville and UGA will probably be favored by close to a TD or more....

I’ll take it honestly. Going into that game 5-0 would be a huge win. I expect that game to be a close one either way.

I don't see Auburn losing to Georgia as a bad thing esp. if it's your first loss.

That would mean Auburn would win back to back road games against Oklahoma and Texas A&M on successive weeks … before returning home against Georgia.

That is one seriously big step up for Auburn over last season’s team …. just the sort of spark that the football program needs after a prolonged downturn.

Not sure I see it though ….. I can see us staying under the radar and sneaking into Norman and ambushing the Sooners …. but that will be a VERY physical contest and leave us in a state of fatigue for A&M game

Not that it matter 1 bit, but at the moment, SC is favored in that game...

I need to see the second game to have a better idea, but Florida and Oklahoma feel like difficult matchups.

It took Arch being awful to make Sayin look decent.
And Arch still ended the game with better stats. OSU seems to have a good defense, but that's about it.

Also to address the OP, we won't have a first loss.

Maybe I'm being a homer, but I don't see Florida winning in Baton Rouge. That stadium is going to be electric.

Probably Georgia but I don’t think it’s unrealistic for us to pull off the upset at Neyland

The hurricane and the Tom Petty pettiness just put it to a whole new level.
