I remember when these threads were being created about Joe Milton.

Seems like a long time ago.

Why give a Tennessee fan 50:1 when they will take 16 all day?
He looked good though. Might be scary.

Heisman odds in January are about the most useless tidbits of news that college football has. The award is purely a popularity contest anyways. They haven’t gotten it right since Joe B, and with the voters being as disconnected as they are currently, this is just the typical media attempt to inflate things for views and drama for the season. Dart being under 3 freshman who barely played is laughable, for one, and then you have tons of guys who aren’t on that list that will be more important to their teams success.

People are suffering from recency bias regarding Milroe.

Assuming he stays at Alabama and remains healthy, he will be in the Heisman conversation next year.

He wasn’t. I’d argue that he wasn’t even the third best.

Then it seems the problem isn't with the Heisman voters

It's that you don't know how to properly evaluate who the most outstanding player is.
