Yeah but if they had to go in a category, they'd be football. And they do try, just don't get very much. I like 'em, because I know what it feels like.

At least they have Baseball.

Football would be the most likely but being in the SECw they have such a hard path the stars would have to be perfectly aligned

It sucks for them because they're fan base reminds me of USCe in that they're faithful through feast or famine.

Arkansas will find success in whatever offseason we are currently experiencing.

Going forward it looks like LSU will be in the both category. CJJ has us going in a good direction, and it hasn't been all that long since our last visit to the Final Four

There's really no excuse for UGA to not be strong in basketball either.

Why?

Also, I'm surprised by the LSU Basketball optimism. The SEC is such that any team can make a run any given season but I was moreso referring to teams that have the chance to be consistently strong in their respective sport

It would not surprise me to see Bama and LSU on this list. Tiger have been good in the past and Tide has gotten close before.

I think TN, LSU and Bama have the potential to be in both. Even TAMU.
But right now, only Florida.

Honestly give LSU 2 years before they are competing for top 2 or 3 in the SEC in basketball. Very good class coming in and Coach has people very excited in Baton Rouge. The fans will come back.

LSU's Basketball chances of being good >>>>> Ole Miss football chances of being good.

This doesn't make any sense at all bro. Mizzou's never even been to the Final Four. Mississippi State has. Therefore MSU was closer than Mizzou has ever been to a NC in Basketball. Mizzou and MSU should be switched.

Fair enough as I think Ole Miss is borderline niether with Mississippi State as their Football program has been subpar for decades and they have Andy KenNITdy as HC.

Regarding Bama, I dont see Anthony Grant as a consistent Sweet 16 coach nor do I think they'll ever acheive Florida status in the current climate of SEC basketball

My list wasn’t based solely on past results but on the current state of the programs and their future potential for success

Thread is a failure when 1/3 of the posts in it are OP's.

But those who have responded appear to agree that State falls under "niether" . . . Sorry, not sorry
