The kid who ran the ball so well againat Florida, that's Terrance Williams. I've known that kid since the first grade. He's a kid that everyone wanted but he didn't have the grades. I used to talk about him all the time on this board. He broke all kinds of SC records at B-L ... kid is a player and will likely get his shot in the NFL. He played varsity HS ball as an 8th grader. Kid is a phenom.

No one around here was surprised that he had a good day againat UF.

Yes that victory back in '86 really grinds my gears. If it wan't for that the streak would be at 38 back to 1979 when we didn't win a game.

That response certainly screams not triggered.

Trust me when I tell you this is the one game out of the season when I am untriggerable. You guys are so overdue it is ridiculous. I won't say a thing when we finally do lose a game to UK except congratulations. Pity and empathy are more accurate descriptions of my mental state.

Against the 3rd and 4th string defense.
No one anywhere is surprised.

but allowing over 200 yards of rushing to a DII team should be alarming to their fan base.

Not really, we watched the game.

UCF or w/e the name of that team was rushed for like 70 on one play before the half. I didn't watch the second half because.. well what would the point be?

It was 38-0 at halftime...most of the shite posted is from turdheads who never watched the game...we subbed a LOT. I saw walkons, equipment mgrs., groundskeepers, volunteer students from the stands suit up.

And of course the OP conventiently forgot that we allowed a whopping 3 yds passing...option or not...they didn't dare drop back.

Better crowd those WRs big blue cause Franks will hit them in stride and you will only see a blur to the house.

Should be a good game and keep in mind I think we had 11 or more players out from 1 game suspensions and injuries including some key guys. Mullen wasn't going to show his hand in the first game....but he might show you the back of his hand this Saturday night. We shall see.

I'm sure he'll rush for more than 100 yards, yet UK will be kept to less than 10 points.

They're a triple option offense

Speaking of stats, the last time Kentucky beat Florida, the national debt was only $3 trillion.

Kentucky turned the ball over 4 times against the Chippewas high school team last weekend.

That will translate to about 8-10 turnovers vs. the Gator D.

And there’s the rub. I don’t think anyone is calling for some big Cats win, or even a win in most cases, just that Gators fans may be putting a hair too much emphasis on game one. Ball control obviously never changes between games and clearly Heisman-esque performances against FCS teams translate perfectly to conference matchups. So I think we’re up to 8 Kentucky turnovers and 10 Franks touchdown passes. At least now I know to bet the over.

Turnovers are weird and mostly luck, and every point they scored was a direct result of one. I’m not all that concerned about a reoccurrence.

I’m also not concerned about Franks based on a single good game against a glorified Juco squad, and I can’t work up much trepidation about yall’s Running game— your O line couldn’t create running lanes. That said, they did look good in pass pro.

We held a future NFL back to something like 38 yards in game 1 and allowed 2 more first downs against a decent MAC squad than UF gave up to an FCS team.
