Potential Tropical Cyclone Sixteen forms in the Gulf Regardless of development, the system will bring much-needed rain to the Midlands over the weekend.

There are no watches or warnings in effect for the Midlands, but it still will impact our area.
The system will push through the Midlands and South Carolina over the weekend. Rain will spread across the area early Saturday. The heaviest rain will occur late Saturday night
and early Sunday morning across the Midlands. Most forecast models have been indicating between 1" and 2" of rain as the storm moves through Sunday afternoon, but there could be isolated areas that receive more.

First post.
I for one hope it doesn’t rain. Would rather beat Florida straight-up. If it rains and we win, we will be considered lucky, bailed out by bad weather. It rains and UF wins, they are a good team and able to adapt to the circumstances. I’d rather get full credit for 3 SEC wins in a row.

I don't give a shite how we win. I just want us to win.

really no reason to risk his knee if SCAR isn't going to win the SEC this year.
If we win this game, there is a good chance we win the East this year.

Not really. It's an outside chance. You would need Florida to go on and beat Georgia and Mizzou, and Georgia to beat Mizzou as well, and then you need to go to Knoxville and beat Tennessee, and College Station and beat A&M.
I don't see UF beating both UGa and Miz if we can't beat SC.

I think he’s going with the scenario where Mizzous appeal is denied

Correct, sir. Also, there is a chance that the East winner has 3 losses.

Those games don't look near as daunting now as they did before the season.

Has that ever happened before? I think this would be a first.

Not really. It's an outside chance.

SC did it in 2010 with losses to Auburn, Kentucky and Arky.

Yeah this is gonna be some ugly weather. If either team jumps out and seizes all the momentum you might see the other itching to get back in the warm, dry locked rooms.
