The most frustrating Florida South Carolina game...2012

That was the game that 1/2 the team had the flu. I think Connor Shaw had a temp of 101 before the game and Bruce or Ace Sanders was puking his guts out. After that game, Spurrier said they were going to make the team get flu shots before the season.

Joseph Charlton, "Secret" weapon for SC. 2nd leading punter in the nation with the ability to flip the field.

If Mullen is smart he'll get the ball out fast to soften the box and/or break off a big play. I'd prefer defending Trask throughout the game than Jones, but it won't matter if our DBs aren't playing good coverage. If UFs defense remains banged up I see us having a similar offensive game plan to the one we had against UK. The team who possesses the ball last will probably win the game. Cocks 31 Gators 28.

Greenard and Zuniga are probably not going to play. High ankle sprains don't heal in a week.

Unless something happens between now and then, it looks like Hilinski will be the man on Saturday.

I expect to see Joyner some too, however.

If we have either Zuniga or Greenard, I think UF will be OK. If both are out as with LSU, then this defense is not close to the same. UF definitely will not take them lightly.

This will be a tough game. The fact that it is in the noon slot is absolutely ridiculous. Florida has the definite advantage. I'm curious to see how Hilinski looks. Florida's wide receivers could definitely pose us some problems on the outside. I'd feel much better if this was a night game.

Our defense is banged up and reeling after two very physical games the last 2 weeks. This game will be very tough imo. I think it is a tossup.

Agreed. I think Dak gets prolly 15% of snaps moving forward. He brings something to the offense, for sure. Hilinski throws a much better ball, but he's a statue out there.

I think Carolina can take this game. Doesn't mean that they will, but I think the D can get in Trask's face.

That won’t help our strength of schedule case if they do knucklehead.

I would rather see SCAR beat Florida also but not since we have beat them, that hurts our strength of schedule argument.

why do you think SOS even matters?

If LSU wins the SEC with 0 or 1 loss, they are in the playoffs.

If LSU doesn't win the SEC, you aren't making the playoffs.

Your SOS is irrelevant.

I can't believe he's going to be able to play. He looked like he needed help standing up at the end of that UGA game.

I know how the internet works so I fully expect people to say this is sour grapes, although it's not, but I don't see SC keeping this within 2 TDs. Last saturday reminded me of the '14 missouri/uf game where all the stats favor one team but the turnvoers and craziness of the game led the other way. Uf is simply a much better team than SC and should have no trouble handling them.

Last year in the Swamp (so take it's for what it's worth), SC had a 17 point lead of UF with 1 min to go in the 4th quarter. SC's defensive secondary had been decimated the week before vs Ole Miss. They ran out of gas last year vs Fl.

Unpossible to know at this point. If they go 11-1 and lose to Bama in a close one and all the other teams have a loss it can happen.

and last year in columbia we won by 30 and lost this year in athens. What happened last year is entirely irrelevant to this year.

UF looked vulnerable on both LOS against LSU. We knew about the OL issues, but it looks like the DL is regressing, especially without Greenard OR Zuniga.

I'm gonna go ahead and make a bold statement and say that LSU is a bit better than South Carolina and Death Valley is a little more intimidating than Cock Valley.

I'm not worried about this game.
