It's not that often for any team not named Tennessee or Florida because they always play one of the two. Playing LSU and Bama in the same year (Not including post season) is pretty rare for the rest of the east.

Also the problem isnt getting UF every year. Its getting UF+USC + UF+UGA while bama gets UT+Mizzou + UT+UK in handpicked rotation irrelevant schedules. Same regular season winning % vs SEC top 10s. Bama gets worn out and beat home when they finally have to play back to back tough games. Try four in a row. Scheduling is a huge advantage. Its not as simple as win what you got on there when the conference is creating inequities.
Before it was random luck to a degree-teams cycle up teams cycle down. However these schedules were hand picked bridge schedules.

What makes the "when do the puppies get to play LSU and Bama in the same season" even funnier is that under the current structure it is literally impossible for us to play them both (not couting SEC title). But yes, it is all a conspiracy for UGA to cheat and get an easy schedule
Nevermind that from 2003-2009 we played either Bama or LSU (in addition to yearly matchups with some good to great Auburn teams from that stretch) every single year except for 2006.
But repeat the South Carolina mantra: UGA cheats to get an easy schedule every year!

The last few years whoever Bama plays from the East gets a loss so it affects the top of the East.
USCe has been Arkansas' bitch until the motorcycle crash. Why does LSU think they are so tough. Same for UF since Urban retired.
It's not that Bama has dodged the top teams from the East. It's just easier to win the East if you didn't face Bama.
LSU fans (not all of 'em) just need to quit crying about playing Florida and win the game.

The 6-1-1 format is still alive and well in the SEC because all of the SEC coaches are afraid of playing Florida and LSU more often.
