so how does this factor in UGA losing to SC who lost to UNC which finished 5th in its division.

UNC was a 2 point conversion away from beating y’all

Florida almsot losing to Miami, 4th in its ACC division

First game of the season a week early in a rivalry game. UF would crush Miami right now.

the two point conversion doesn't necessarily win the game. There was still time to get a TD or FG.

it would have been smarter to extend the game than go for the 2 point conversion.

he would have extended the game if Clemson had Auburn or FLorida's QB. lol

it was his respect for CLemson ability on offense that got him to make that decision.

Shouldn't the fact Clemson almost lost to UNC tell you that it is not likely Auburn and FLorida go undefeated...

No, unless you truly believe UNC is only 1 point worse than Clemson.

Is that what you think? Because if it is, then yes, I am absolutely putting UF and Auburn in the same class as Clemson.

it doesn't matter where you put these teams regardless. lol

it easy to say that your team would beat every team in another conference if your team will never actually have to do it.

i've also made this point....you can't assume that you woulld have the same players if your program was in the ACC. The SEC has a lot more money and obviously is the most hyped and marketed conference in football.

i don't know how anybody can say being in the ACC is a recruiting advantage for football. lol

every year Clemson gets trashed for its schedule

That’s about what I think I paid. Maybe less. Daughter was two so I guess 27 years ago.

Can you please stop with this transitive property bullshite? Everyone except you on this forum understands that, sometimes, inferior teams win.

No matter how much you try to spin it, nothing is going to change the fact that Clemson plays a garbage schedule and your best win is at home against Texas A&M (who happens to be in the SEC, not your group of 6 conference).

Here’s the validation you’re looking for: Clemson has a great team with a stellar defense. Now can we please stop with the ACC trolls in the SEC Rant?

I'm a homer b/c don't agree with you that Florida is likely to go undefeated against Clemson's schedule?

You are a Florida person, aren't you being a homer.

how many teams in the country even have one P5 win on their credit yet you are trying to dismissed Clemson's win over texas am as nothing.

lol

how was barely beat 4 loss texas in a shootout more impressive than Clemson's dominant near shutout of also unranked texas am.

It's even easier when 4 SEC teams also beat the toughest team Clemson has faced this year.

The only thing that would prevent the top 5 SEC teams from running the table with Clemson's schedule is an inexplicable frick up, like UGA experienced. It happens, but on paper LSU, UGA, Bama, UF, and Auburn are heavy favorites in all 12 games.

that doesn't mean anything for one year

Ross and Trevor aren't eligible and they are obviously better than anybody on your roster

the uga lost wasn't inexplicable....UGA hasn't been great on offense all year.

that's gonna get you beat at some point.

I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you meant “how many teams in the country have even one OOC P5 win”.

The power 5 conferences have a total of 54 OOC losses between them. So no, it’s not impressive.

So Texas is LSU’s best win?

Alabama was LSU's only impressive win but I think we have to factor in Tua's injury and acknowledge Alabama's defense is their weakness this year which makes Alabama a good matchup for a team that scores a lot.

there were many timesin that game where Bama players were in position to make a tackle and whiffed.

I was surprised LSU didn't drop some after Auburn hung in there with them.
