I heard on the radio today that OM is struggling to sell out their allowed attendance of ~14k. Is this correct? Maybe Gator fans will scoop up some of them

When it cost $100 minimum for the shittiest seats, they priced the Mississippi folk out of it. Not a smart move to make in the poorest state in the country.

They're over $100 a piece. Nobody is going to buy that shite especially when there's no tailgating and we are likely to get run out of the building

Not do fast there Gator. I’ve seen a good share of empty Gator seats at our annual cocktail party. Looks like the Gator fans suffer from sticker shock too - or maybe they just don’t want to show up for another beat down

Yea Ole Miss added in parking pass and annual donation into each ticket. Makes for an expensive seat

Wow, way to dampen excitement about a new coach I guess

I didn’t even know tix were available. Most alumni who live out of state (Which is a significant percentage) aren’t flying into Oxford for a 25% filled stadium and no tailgating.

Everyone is fairly excited. I am excited to be watching from my house on ESPN. With COVID people are pretty reluctant to pack up the family and travel for a weekend where the lodging, restaurants, and bar openings are uncertain and there is no tailgating in grove.

Games in Oxford are much better deeper in to fall.

Everyone I know is excited as hell about Kiffin. Too many other variables (no tailgating for example) to chalk it up to lack of excitement.

Oh I meant by prohibitively pricing the tickets at a time when you'd think there'd be more enthusiasm. But like the other guys have said, all the restrictions and no tailgating are huge factors as well

This. When I was at OM it was 50/50 in-state / out of state students. It’s not like LSU, with just a bunch of Louisiana kids. OM pulls tons of kids from all over southeast. Very appealing school beyond just MS. Probably tough concept for an LSU fan to grasp.

Just looked up LSU’s 2019 enrollment. Says it was a 20/80 split

eta: know you’re not an LSU, LSU reference was to OP.

Super stoked to watch Florida Ole Miss at 11 from my couch and turn the channel straight to LSU State at 2:30...Little night cap of FSU Miami. Solid Saturday.

Can’t wait

Hey Gary. Remember a seriously undermanned Ga Southern team? That is a game that will live forever in history. Don’t know why it should have been such a shocker though. GSU was a great lower division many time championship program having a horrible year until they rolled into Hogtown to take on a Gator team that was reverting back to their roots.
Oh, FYI 1980 was a great year. We loved it and love remembering it. We were unbeaten, untied and undenied - the undisputed NC. Georgia’s history is long and storied. The Gators had a good run in the 90s and a few years with Urban. The rest is lackluster. Couldn’t buy success and boy did you ever try. What was that? 102 or 104 NCAA violations? Your program has a clown running it now and we are really enjoying the show. Man, can that guy dance!!! I’d like to suggest y’all give Ole Dan and his very very affectionate wife a huge raise and a lifetime contract. UGA might even chip in on the cost

Hey Gary. You might want to take that UGA jersey into the cocktail parties. It would sure make your walk out of the stadium a lot less embarrassing if you could pull it on over your wife beater shirt and jorts. Careful don’t want to mess up that mullet though

Ole Miss has lost so many donors they have barely sold 10,000 and had to release the rest to the public. Bowing to the Monument Mob, erecting a fence so the team wouldn't have to see a statue, and the University supporting the protest for an accused sexual predator has been the final straw.

Dude, we know, because you have literally copy and pasted this into at least three different threads.
