I don't think so, at this point. He has support from a few LR boosters but it's nothing compared to what a quality hire would get out of LR and NWA boosters. Lots of money has been held back over the last 2 years with Pittman at the helm and most want a clean slate.
That being said, if BP wins 3 or more remaining games the job is probably his regardless. His chances for the job solely depends on wins and nothing else
So who are you going to hire then?

So glad I’ll never have to watch another Napier called Gator offense in my life.

Napier sounded drunk after the game yesterday. And stupid. I have no idea how he ever got the job to begin with
He got the job for the same reason Butterteeth Sharkfricker McElwain did. Precisely because he didn’t come across as a winner who would challenge the UAA.

I don't trust Stricklin to hire a good coach.
I get that, but he did hire Golden.

shite, don't ask me. If I knew that I would be making bank with lottery numbers or sports betting. I just know a few people with big $$$ and close connections to the donor side and this is the general consensus amongst them.
Our Athletic Director isn't making the hire himself, it's our BoT and a sort of search firm - neither of which have ties to Petrino or like him necessarily

He should've never been hired.

I never understood why Pittman was hired. Seems like a great dude, but I don't get how you hire a guy who's entire career was a lineman coach for a HC position.
So I don't even have a remote clue what kind of people Arkansas even believes it can hire.
It seems to me like Petrino is huge upgrade in every way.

If Norvell and/or BK get canned, SC would be stupid to fire Beamer (even with all the many problems we've had this year). There would be too many good schools in front of us to pick from the scraps that would be left...

Big Jim Sexton is about to loot a number of athletic departments and booster clubs with all of these openings.

It was clear he knew it last night at the press conference.
Kinda shitty to make him coach his team to a win, knowing he's fired either way, and then put him through that PC answering questions about his future. He teared up and could only muster "I love the game of football" by the end of it.
Kinda feel bad for the dude, he wasn't cut out for UF but seems like a good guy

He didnt coach his team to a win.
MSU had the game won.
MSU threw the game away to a DT with seconds on the clock.
That UF team wins despite Napier.

Agreed, they should have just fired him ahead of time if they were going to do it regardless this weekend. My only thought is maybe they gave billy the choice to coach one more time, idk. Stricklin is a clown himself tho, so no surprise this was handled poorly.
