Yeah, it's dumb how schools can't host recruits at neutral site games.

I thought that was just the deal for UG/UF.

I seem to remember Bama hosting guys at the CFA kickoff game several times.

So defensive.

you also aren't used to having the most unique game in CFB every season either.

I mean I think Army-Navy holds that. Red River Rivalry is up there too.

It's great, and it's not going anywhere especially with the Jags leaving in the next decade.

I live in JAX, who are the Jags?

Let's see...HOW MUCH does it cost for a round-trip plane ticket, car rental, hotel, food, etc. compared to probably not even needing to put gas in your car & get to sleep in your own bed that night?

Good, if there is "no advantage", move the game to Atlanta or, at least, have it rotate between there & Jax..

After all, per you, it shouldn't matter.

Not a problem for students.

Once again, having a game in Fl. against a Fl. team is an advantage.
If you want it truly neutral, play it in Alabama & make all travel.

& how many people have time for a fall vacation or like the beach?

Or, as it seems on here, a place to drink.

& I'ld like to save $ by not having to fork out for plane tix, hotel, car rental, food, etc. for a game when I can possibly not have to put gas in my car & sleep in my own bed that same night after seeing that same game in person.

From the sounds of the articles, it's on it's way out of Jax.

WLOCP is the annual rivalry between UGA & UF...PERIOD.

Did they change anything about the IB when moving it to rotating between Alabama & Auburn?

As I stated, which you always overlook, is move it to Atlanta & see all the Fl. people complain about the location.

My first UF game was the WLOCP, and I actually found myself being surprised at how cool it was. In general, I hate Jax, but that game is a little underrated in how unique the environment is there in my opinion. The ribbing between actual alumni of UGA and UF is pretty pointed but also pretty tongue in cheek. And as for the South Georgia/North Florida rednecks, it's amusing to watch a bunch of people who are pretty much the same go it based on nothing more than which side of the state line they were born on.

I'd like to see it stay.
