You still count all of Bama’s forfeited and vacated wins but not our vacated SEC title. This isn’t hard
The winning percentages I posted absolutely do not count anyone’s forfeited and vacated wins including Alabama’s. You are wrong. This seems very hard for you.
quote:
Alabama has 966 official victories in NCAA Division I (an additional 21 victories were vacated, and eight victories and one tie were forfeited). Alabama has won 34 conference championships (4 Southern Conference and 30 SEC championships), and has made an NCAA-record 77 postseason bowl appearances.
If not for 30 vacated/forfeited wins, Alabama would hit 1,000 wins this year. Instead, they were at 966 going into this season. That is the number I used, the number of official wins. Vacated and forfeited wins are not counted. It was an apples to apples comparison. Neither vacated/forfeited wins nor vacated/forfeited titles were counted. Don’t worry, everyone is wrong from time to time. But not everyone digs in like you have.
Here you go, you can see for yourself.

You realize how asinine of a comparison this is? Wade, Thomas, Stallings won Titles, Hell, Mike Dubose won an SEC title Barners….
He’s just mad because Alabama also has more Heisman winners than his team has.
So basically they have nothing of significance anymore over Alabama.

All they have is a new found appreciation for Dan Mullen.

UF is a well-rounded athletic program. They're just going through a TAMU era where people will call them a 'sleeping giant'
Within the past 20 years the main criticism was outdated facilities. I don't really get why they were/are behind, but they should catch up if things haven't changed. Kids want to know what type of car they will drive and what type of training/chill facility they will have on the day to day.
Florida will be fine. Things are constantly in flux unless you have a long-tenured saban/bear type.

You mean there are Georgia fans who care about vacated basketball wins?
Hey...like I said....I think Florida does have a good history, and should be considered as such. I have no problem with Florida being considered and excellent football program and academic school. I do think Florida needs to turn things around or the reputation will become tarnished, though.
(I had no idea Georgia had basketball wins vacated. )
I specifically remember a UGA poster with a Pink Floyd avatar taking issue when I joked that UF officially has as many Final Fours as UGA has tournament wins (which is technically true).

You might wanna look that up again.

Imagine thinking that Wiki is a great source in 2024.

This is what I found:
Georgia Hugh Durham 1984–85 22–9 21–8 Vacated 1 tournament win and 1 tournament loss
Jim Harrick 2001–02 22–10 21–9 Vacated 1 tournament win and 1 tournament loss
What are you seeing? I will admit I could be missing something, but this is what I came across. I don't follow basketball. I counted only vacated wins, because...well...how do you vacate a loss?
ETA
If you know of more give me a link so I can see.

You should post another more reputable source that contradicts it then instead of just saying it is wrong. Prove what you are saying.

Got it!
forfeit its 30 victories
If they cheated and got caught, then it is deserved. I don't know why any Georgia fan would argue the point. It is what it is.

Excluding Alabama, the entire sec was pretty mediocre nationally in football. It wasnt until this recent surge in the late 90s that the sec started dominating. I think Tennessee racked up a nice little run in the 60s as well. Allowing black people to play probably started changing things towards the south's favor.

You're the one who personally still counts vacated (and forfeited) wins for Bama but not for other teams.

Honest question, are you developmentally challenged? Despite providing the source info, you obviously can’t understand it. And it is really simple. That makes me believe you have an intellectual disability. You may still be perfectly qualified to be Florida’s next athletic director though.

I’m not the one who’s being a hypocrite when it comes to vacated wins.

You don’t even realize you keep posting the same thing over and over do you?

But that’s exactly what you’re doing.

This was one of UGA's issues in the last years of the Richt era. Little to no commitment from the BOR. AD raking in money hand over fist but not spending on facilities and stadium upgrades...
Like him or not Pruitt kinda shook up the status quo with his big mouth and in your face attitude with the wheels in the AD.
We finally started spending money instead of banking it on facilities, upgrades etc in Richts last few years.
I doubt CKS woulda came back to UGA without the renewed commitment from the boosters, AD and BOR that started late in Richts tenure...
