Who will they kick the tires on?

I think these names have to be considered

Chip Kelly
Willie Taggert
Charlie Strong
Scott Frost
Wake Forrest coach
Bob Stoops- he will say no, but might as well make the call

No major coach is going to touch UF now that they fired their most successful coach since Urban, AND are not paying his buyout.

No, UF will have to settle for some up & comer.

Most successful coach since Urban? You mean the second coach? Not very bright are you.

If Willy Taggert went to Florida after one year at Oregon (wonder what his buyout is?), that would be darn interesting for Kelly.

If he doesn't take a pro job as a coordinator or something, does he go back to college? If he did, I think most people assume he wants a West Coast job. UCLA was what most were thinking, but if Oregon opened up...

Isn't Jimmy Sexton McElwain's agent as well? Does Florida really want to risk pissing off Sexton who is the most powerful coaching agent in sports right now? Just give him his money and cut ties with him.

I go back a ways, I remember when Bob Woodruff was the coach at Florida. Florida has always wanted to run coaches off when they have an off year. It is just what they do. Except for Spurrier and the Meyer years Florida has always been an up and down program.

Many more quality teams in Florida now than there was 25 years ago, the talent is dispersed out more now with everyone recruiting there.

I don't see anything cedibile that say we are doing anything else. All I see is people freaking out about shite they don't have any knowledge about. Pretty much a normal day on the sec rant.

They just said on radio that Taggert would be very interested. It's his backyard where he grew up and they said he'd return in a minute

I didn't think about the domino effect with Chip Kelly, but that would be juicy

Bill Clark won't get mentioned, but he is a damn good coach and will do a very good job at a big school one day.

Mullen hates Striklin or however the hell you spell his name.

Mullen's wife hates Florida, or however the hell you spell that state.

He is a Scientology missionary to the state of Mississippi and his Theta level achievement requires him to stay in the landmass for ten more years. If he leaves, he loses.

So we shouldn’t expect our offense to improve out of the 100s with a offensive head coach ? He didn’t do his job and he lied so he got fired. All 3 years our offense was ranked in the 100s. The next coach will not even be in the 100s his first year. Mac only knows how to run his offense and refuses to change to help the players. Nobody in this conference would want him as a head coach.

Maybe UF and UT can switch coaches and see how that works.

Why Dan Mullen wasn't hired when UM left is beyond me. I imagine UF will have to swallow their pride this time and court him back. We will see how he slow plays them.

Bobby fricking Petrino is who we should get....SEC title in no time. Has proven track record and offense would be 100x better without the air raid shite. Lamar Jackson is probably going pro and this is the time for him to leave UL.
