Not really sure why anyone would schedule a home/home series with Texas.
After A&M left,
Texas reconfigured the seating at their stadium and since teams in the Big 12 do not travel well, they moved all the visitor's seating to the corner of the upper deck with limited tickets to the visiting team. Heard that LSU is only getting 3,000 tickets to their game this year.

Texas is about to remodel their stadium. I believe the visitor seating will change after the remodel is done.

In light of the threats posed by the upcoming hurricane season, Florida has cancelled its 2030/31 series with Texas.

Foley left. Stricklin has set up a lot more opponents so far. Michigan in Texas. Miami in Orlando. Texas and Colorado in the future. Looks like we are finally trying to get a healthy OOC again.

Foley set up both the Michigan and Miami game.

tu is indeed scheduleing these games aginast SEC teams because their schedule is hot garbage and their strategy of scheduling PAC-12 teams hasn’t paid the dividends they thought it would. So now tu is scheduling B1G and SEC steams for OOC. Also, they know that their game with A&M will never return and deep down they know this is their only measuring stick with A&M, although they will never admit it.

Our move to the SEC has changed the dynamic between the two schools so much that it isn’t even comparable in perception anymore. We have a better stadium, better schedule, and play in a better league and they know it. So they had to adjust their OOC schedule.

Honestly this doesn’t affect TAMU anymore than us playing Clemson affects South Carolina.

Actually, most rational people would find a pretty easy measuring stick to be the historical record in each sport.

I know A&M would rather measure on pretend future National Championships, but record speaks for itself.

No question people can always use the final recruiting rankings.

Not exactly true. UT would give lower deck yard-line seats to visitors, with the rest in the lower corner end zone (the conference sets the number of seats the home team must provide, so that's a moot point).

UT fans were getting hosed at away games by being stuck in far-off spots, so we stopped playing Mr. Nice Guy and began returning the favor.

Texas has never given visitors decent seating. Never will, either. Though given how poorly they sell you should be able to find ample seating amongst the burnt orange morons

You don't know WTF you're talking about.

UT used to allot 17,000 tickets to aggy, with the seating tapered upward from the 50-yard line (lower deck, east side) for years and years and years.

Y'all would do the same.

And like I said, UT until recently gave Big 12 visitors seats on the east side lower deck, last section facing the end zone, as well as some in the northwest corner of the lower deck.

You don't have any idea about who I am so I suggest you don't dispute any UT-related details I convey.

You can see how the speed of the game has changed from the 1939 Florida/Texas game.

Congrats, we also won the last game in Austin so the series ends with both teams winning on the road. Also, if your series record is completely based off the 40s-70s, then you need to stop living in the past. You haven't been relevant since McCoy, and you had the same record as A&M last season, in your so-called return to prominence. I have to give whorn fans credit, most big name programs will stop being annoying when they're losing because they have a basic awareness. Whorn fans can lose 7 games 3 seasons in a row and still act like they are Bama

More like the 1890s until 1984, then 1995 until 2011... hoss.

We were 12-5 against aggy since 1995.

That's winning 71 percent of the time, which is greater than the 67 percent TEXAS win percentage all time, with a record of 76-37.

Aggy won 10 games during their rogue years of 1984-1994, a quarter of your wins in more than 110 years.

So before 1984, the series record was 63-22 in favor of TEXAS. That means we won 74 percent of the time.

In short, your 10-game streak in the 80s and early 90s was but a blip on the radar... hoss.
