Number of posts for me in this thread... 9 (+ this one)
Number of replies TO me... 8 + 1 (your not so subtle comment here...)

Seems like I'm facilitating conversation around UF's schedule... You should be thanking me for bringing some relevance to your program.

Prior to someone thinking there was a triggering happening, it was actually decent quality discussion even. I indicated I see a very promising 2020 schedule, which I'd already indicated in multiple threads before. I see 2020 as the year where UF probably needs to lay the wood in Jax and swing for the fences. The schedule sets up well and UGA is replacing a ton... Feels like as good of an opportunity as any if Mullen's going to get it done there in Gainesville.

As for the UGA schedule thread, it was already discussed on our board. I generally don't make it a habit of posting in diddly threads if I can help it.

Nice subtle burn for the UF fans!

I can't help it if my subtle jab about Mullen's development and recruiting sets off a tidal wave of emotions...

Give me your honest read... if UF loses this year in Jax and then doesn't win it in 2020, are you super confident in Mullen's ability to get you guys to overtake Kirby in the East in the near term? This is obviously just a hypothetical, as I'm not writing you guys out of a win in 19, I just think it's less likely than it will be in 20 given all that we're likely to be replacing.

Depends on how recruiting is going at that point. He’s doing better than Mac, who closed well but sucked at building a balanced roster. Still not at the level we need to be though. The facility improvements will help but they’re a ways from being completed.

Florida is also losing a lot after this year. The schedule sets up favorably but we still won’t be as good given the exodus we’re looking at.

Can you please educate straws on the importance of a balanced roster?

I'm not really the prognosticating type, and I didn't even read any of the posts ITT, but I do know that no matter how far one team is ahead of the other, there is never a given that the other team cannot win the next year. I am not doing the back and forth with you guys. Straws & Company can take care of that.

100%... It's not so much "can team A beat team B ever"... as do you have confidence in the coach to get your team to the level that you want to be at if they're not taking advantage of what look to be some of the best opportunities.

Ultimately, my conversations with you are much different than with straws... but I'm still gonna give you shite and I expect it in return.

On an unrelated note, my work trip to Dallas looks to be off for now, but I'll keep you posted. We shall have that beer.

No. I think they all suck, even Saban.
