I wouldn't call it an obssession. Meyer's teams are never obssessed with another team because he instills self confidence in his teams. Meyer and Marotti use certain ploys to motivate the player's. Bama is a motivation factor for Florida to get back to the top. I definitely wouldn't call it an obssession though.

Now I'm Mad. Some of you Aubs need to show the therapist where you were touched on the doll or puppet when you were little so that you feel so angry or misused. This year you're gonna get your arse smashed again so bend over and take it and this year your not gonna get kissed first when we stick it to you dry bitches. Meyer did the same thing with UGA and the endzone celebration in 2008.

Actually bud the majority of LSU and Auburn fans have no problems with Gator fans, good try though.
Weird that after Bama wins you and your cronies create this sense that everyone is obsessed with you or a "hater", when we never seemed to have that problem interacting with UF fans.

It's cool. Just a word of advice, next time don't start a thread based of an assumption. Try to be knowledgeable about how other coaches deal with their players first.

My point being that saban's Team may be better for these reasons. The three stars that overachieved are now replaced with 4 and 5 stars that will excel under Saban's direction. Cody,Anders, and Arenas were over achieving three stars. Dareus was a three star, but you could have fooled me. Better Athletes even though I cheered for anyone wearing the Crimson and white. No probation to hamper recruiting Gents.

Difference being that Bama knew that the only way to get to Florida again was to win them all. That's not the case for Florida this year.
What happens if they put all that focus on Bama and then lose the game mid-season? Will they go into a tailspin?

Meyer and Saban are cut from the same mold, neither let their team get big headed or think ahead.
