It was Golesh 2nd year with team and Sumrall's first year so it could possibly mean just a little hopefully.

Auburn’s defense is legit … possibly elite in the SEC.

Auburn-Florida game will be overshadowed by LSU-Ole Miss on the same day, but Auburn-Florida will be a huge game for both teams. Winner of the game will be feeling real good about themselves starting (likely) 3-0. The loser will be behind the eight ball on trying to get to the 8-win regular season goal I think both teams have.
Auburn has a brutal October playing @ Tennessee, @ UGA, vs LSU, and @ Ole Miss. Beating Florida at home will be huge for them as they go into that tough stretch of the season. If they drop the Florida game, they may be looking at having a losing record going into November.

Well nevermind it's ohio state vs indiana that same day lol atleast SEC network will be there with Herbie and Fowler commentating on ABC primetime. Should be a fun one to watch.

Thank you for talking football. I don't know how this one turns out, I just know it is great to get to play Florida again. It was the match up I missed most.

6 of Auburn’s 7 conference losses last season were by single scores. Only Georgia won by more (10 pts)
And our offense was our worst since 2012, .... repeatedly hanging our D out to dry. Yet we still averaged 99 ypg rushing defense (sec rank 2nd behind UGA)
DJ Durkin provides continuity for the D, and our secondary has improved. I believe they will be a very stingy bunch …. salty.
