You were number one going into the first playoff man. Tell yourself that if you want to believe it.

South carolina receiving more vote than UF. Interesting.
South Carolina was 8-5 last season and UF was 6-7. Carolina also returns their starting QB and UF has to play at Willy Brice this fall. I would put SC over UF to start the season for sure.
Is Billy going to get Florida over the hump and get to a winning record this season?

Congratulations to the Fighting Aggies for coming in at 25. Jimbo has this thing turned around.
Beat LSU last year and I am expecting another loss for LSU against Texas A&M this season. Plus, with an addition to a new OC shall be much improved on offense this season.

“Alabama has zero business being in the top 5 with uncertainty at QB”
We had uncertainty at QB in 2016 and started the season #1 in both major polls. We also were preseason #2 in the polls going into 2011 with no clear frontrunner at the QB position.
Both times with new OC and DC?

I can't help that you don't remember the conversations surrounding our program after the losses to Auburn and Oklahoma in 2013-14, the loss to Ohio State in the CFP, and the loss to Ole Miss at home in 2015.

Good things never last. One of these days you will be right about Alabama and Nick Saban. It could be 2023 for all we know, but this is a very talented Alabama team Saban has in Tuscaloosa. So we'll see.

I’m expecting the Aggies to lose again in BR like they have there in every game since 1994.
Also expect Truelefty’s team to be bottom of the barrel per usual.

Stoops and UK own South Carolina [sans the times our QB was on crutches] the last ten years and since he's gotten clear of Jokers guys Stoops is 3 for 5 against Florida, including the last two. And the game is at Commonwealth[will always be Commonwealth to me].
The Cats are gonna stomp both of them this year.

At least we kicked out all the bad apples from last year. No excuses for Fisher to fall back on.
Youth? No. Lack of talent? No. Bad LB coach? No. If he fails this year again, he has nowhere to hide from his failures.

Y'all are either misunderstanding the point I'm making, or are intentionally ignoring it and drawing a line in the sand pretending that people think bama sucks now, which nobody is saying.
I'll try again. During the height/pinnacle of Sabans' run which is what I'd very loosely call 2011-2016, it felt like bama was literally umnable to be beaten. Going into every season, and every game, there was no chance they would be contended with and it was just assumed they'd go undefeated and win it all. In the rare cases they DID lose, it was jarring. It was almost unbelievable and you had to double check the score to make sure you saw it right.
They've had phenomenal seasons after that of course and won several titles after that. But very recently, the last 2 seasons, they have felt human. They seem more beatable. THey don't feel like an impenetrable force like they used to. Hell, just int he last 2 seasons:
-2 point win over a UF team wiht a losing record (UGA beat by 27)
-Loss to a 4-loss ATM with a scrub QB
-6 point win over an LSU team with a losing record
-7 point win over a decent arkansas team (UGA beat by 37)
-2 point win in 4OT over an AU team wiht a losing record (UGA led 21-0 in the 4th quarter over the same team)
-15 point loss in title game
-1 point come from behind win over a 5-loss Texas
-3 point loss to a good UT team (that UGA would shellack)
-1 point loss to a good LSu team (that UGA would shellack)
-6 point win over a 5 loss ole miss
As of late they've been not only losing a bit higher clip, but even some of their wins have been much closer and out of character than they used to be. All of that is objective, inarguable fact. What's also inarguable fact is that they played for a natty in one of these seasons and finished top 5 in the other. Nobody is saying bama sucks. But they ARE a bit of a different program now. That's also inarguable. Ask yourself 2 things:
1) Do you feel as a bama fan that we are still at the PEAK of saban's run? As in, we are at the highest level of his tenure?
2) Do you think all fo the above that I listed in just 2 seasons would have happened between 2011-2016?
I think if you answer yes to either of those you're simply lying, for whatever reason.

Florida plays 4 top 10 teams, and 5 teams in the top 15.

How old are you? I didn't think BAMA had it all together in 2010. They still went on to win the next 2 NCs. I didn't think BAMA had it together in 2013, and 2014 was an offense with no identity. They still went to play in 3 straight National Championship games (2015-2018), winning 2 of them. 2019 was injuries galore and a terrible, terrible defense. They lost 2 regular season games in '19' and yes, again BAMA's dynasty was over, again. BAMA went on to win it again in 2020. How long has that actually been on your calendar? BAMA losing games should have come as little shock in plenty of times and years.
It doesn't mean much when coach Saban has built a dynasty that simply reloads every season. As history proves. How you happen to feel about it all doesn't really matter, does it?

WTF? Ok, talk your smack now Pug Doggies, you've earned the right. However, if you get to the Final 4 this year, Corum & Edwards are 1000% healthy...and are going to run over, around, and thru your defense.
Time for some reality checks to infiltrate into some of the brains of you Hee-Haw's down south...this Michigan team is just LOADED at the two-deep roster this year. So, go about your business, keep making your trailer payments on time, get the pillow-fighting SEC Champion into the Tournament, and watch as MICHIGAN just literally wears your arse down in the third & fourth quarters...we can run, we can pass, and you won't be able to do ANYTHING about it!
I'll be back in December to review the Final 4, and with God as my witness, I hope it's the Pug Doggies. You won't believe me, but we've been using segments of our practice just to work on GA...you mutts are going down, trust me!

once again, you're trying to play victim when no one is victiminzing you. Can you point to any time where I've sayd bama's dynasty is over? I konw you can't, becaus eI never have. NEver once. I've sipmly sai dtaht the bama of today, right now, over the last 2 seaosns, is not the same program of the 10 years before it. That's not even really debatable. Yet somehow yall take it as a personal insult.

Your own fans must be confused then because I sure have heard a lot about the various shortcomings, particularly staffing wise, of the last 2 years.

Correct, history has proven that the last 2 years of bama football arn't of the same caliber as the years before it. I agree.

Some dufus may have said something about kick six, but that was an obvious luck play win. Chances of getting beat on a play like that are crap.
I agree that after you lost to Ole Miss people were doubting, but you were favored in every game after you destroyed UGA.

Stoops...owned Will Muschamp...
Fat Bradstard will never be forgiven for his choices after he was removed - but he at least cared until he lost control -
Mushcamp was pure poison and only cared about getting a handful of players to the NFL to boost his own resume -
1-5 vs Stoops probably the most damning thing he did to Gamecock football after USC had won 13 of the previous 15 games over UK before Mushcamp arrived -

I didn't go back further than that. If you're not going to put any effort into research why should I? I can make stuff up just as well as you can.
