I wholeheartedly disagree.
Did you think Gus Malzahn would? In year one too? How about 5-19 Gene Chizik? 25-20 Tuberville?
Not sure why you would presume that Harsin can't do what they did? And that's a serious question.

Fun fact, it's been over 40 years since Auburn had a full-time HC that didn't win the conference.

Jimbo will trash that place like he did FSU and then you will be a full time Bama fan.

Is Cam Newton for sale again?

The last thing I want is some sort of half assed mention from finebaum. He’s not even from this planet.

No, neither is Nick Marshall, or Jason Campbell, or Ben Leard or any of the other QBs we've been successful with.
Next question.

Boise St was winning 12-14 games a year before Harsin.
Well that's a lie again. They went 8-5 the year before Harsin. They transitioned to the MWC fromt he WAC three years before Harsin. They won 12 games, then 11 games, then 8 games. Harsin hired and they won 12 games his first year, 9 his second, and then have won at least 10 games every year under him, not including their short season in 2020.
They were BCS busters when they were in the WAC. Not so much when they moved to the MWC.
Don't let me stop your narrative though. Please continue on.

Can you read?
He was saying because Harsin lost to a team, that Auburn should have hired their coach instead. By that same logic Missouri should have hired GSU's coach because Drink lost to him and Alabama should immediately hire Malzahn because he beat Saban multiple times.
I didn't mean to get in between your arguments. The only knock on Drink is that he has only the 1 year. In that year, he had the 1 loss, but he also took over a decent team. I wouldn't have been happy if Alabama hired him, but it doesn't seem to be a terrible hire for Missouri.
And certainly doesn't seem like a downgrade over their previous coach.

This dude is bringing some very weak stuff. No wonder he's been shunned off the bama board.

Yes I know they went 8-5 the one year. Those 5 losses matched their total losses for the previous 5 seasons combined.
Auburn fans keep saying they switched conferences, which while technically true you all for some reason leave out that the strength of that conference left the conference, and the MWC absorbed a lot of the WAC to make up for it. There was not some huge upgrade in conference opponents, it was mostly the same teams.
6 of the current 12 members joined when Boise St did. They came from the WAC and they are the top programs now in the MWC. I don't think a single member of the original 6 have won a conference championship in the MWC since, or come close.
But continue to make excuses if you want by claiming shite without any context. Yeah, new conference, but the same competition as before.
You guys apparently don't know shite about college football outside the SEC.

I've said this a few times, but the barn's roster is pretty decent. The biggest job for a head coach to get right, immediately, is their coordinators. I like his choices and frankly, he has a solid staff that gets the SEC. Georgia is still trying to get back to where Mike Bobo's offenses were under Mark Richt.

Spoiler Alert: I was right, they were all wrong.

Not to say I wasn't an a-hole to them(and continue to be because frick them) but that's not the real reason.
You're missing the multiple weeks before that where I was getting blasted constantly for defending Pete Golding. All the while so called insiders were making up obvious bullshite rumors, and the Alabama fan base that posts there was eating the shite up.
It went on beyond that to them even trying to claim Tua was coming back, when it was quite damn obvious he was gone. Tua said point blank over and over that if he was projected to go in the top15, he was leaving. Saban said multiple times he was projected to be in the top5. Dumbass "Alabama insiders":
Ultimately I was banned because I kept pointing out Crimson Boz was full of shite.
Most of the threads were deleted. Oh sorry, according to Crimson Boz they were somehow accidentally lost in a thread merge. If you're dumb enough to believe that.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to point out what a fricked up modding they have over there.

The Boz/Tua saga. Forgot about that. Was some quality reading material

Guess I got banned by Tide Saint for being logical. Some folks just can't handle the truth.

They didn't win 12-14 games for two straight years before Harsin. Why do you keep lying?

Yeah that was on top of his BS lies about Golding. I have 0 inside information. Like I couldn't be further from being an insider.
Claimed Golding called the previous years games. At first I accepted it, but after a few months of thinking about it, made 0 sense. The defense that year was doing great the majority of the year, multiple shut outs. So at what point did he start calling games? Only the end of the season when the defense struggled?
And so it made sense when Tosh was showed the door, but Boz claimed it was so good that Golding was hired...because he called the previous season. But why the frick would Saban hire the guy who put up those poor results? I melted over the hire until I realized Boz was full of shite.
Then of course all the injuries and such, but they expected scores under 20 against teams like LSU. Pointed out the offenses and turnovers were mostly behind the losses, that pissed everyone off. Especially those who worship at the feet of Tua.
Then he claimed Golding was going lazy and goofy, wasn't putting the work in and that was the issue. Obviously that is bullshite, there is no fricking way in the world Saban would put up with that. He fired Lane Kiffin days before a national championship game, and yet I'm supposed to believe Saban is keeping a defensive guy who is lazy and goofy?
Then he was going to be fired the day after the Auburn loss. I told them no. It was obvious the defensive problems were largely about injury. Poor Shane Lee was getting abused constantly, and as Saban said "These are the guys we have".
That didn't happen. So it was he's going to be fired after ESD.
That didn't happen. So it was he's going to be fired after the Bowl game.
That didn't happen. So it was he's going to be fired after NSD.
That didn't happen. All the while this is supposed to be inside information.
Then Charlie Strong was hired. I don't know if he ever said it, but the general notion of the fanbase was he was going to replace Golding..at some point. Didn't happen.
That on top of the Tua stuff.
So he banned me, used me being an a-hole(don't deny it) as the excuse, while ignoring other people who were worse but kissed his arse.
Why they continue to pretend like he actually knows something over there is beyond me. Kind of like the couple of guys who demand to have control over all information posted and everything needs to be in 1000+ page long threads were nobody can find shite.
It's a cult and frick em.
